Technically, after having taken a stand that he wants her away for her welfare, he has no business wooing her back since nothing has changed in his household to think of bringing her back, same negativity lasts.

What i believe is, sippys will regret and change and realise when they'll ask her to bring her back, that's when he will thinking his family has changed. Not rooting for this, but that's what's going to happen, my guess
