It's not only about the color .Manvi was so happy in love without any fear of the future consequences hence it reflected in her face. This Maya has a constant fear of losing Rudra and most importantly her revenge game for MJ . It might take time for her to be like old Manvi even with Rudra

I am doubtful if Maya would become like old Manvi in Roy mansion, because she has to be always on her guards.With Rudra she is like her old self, but around MJ everything is forced. The old Manvi may not resurface if the truth doesn't resurface, she has to tell her story to him.

He also needs to tell his story to her, she knows about him only through Rajeev. But I wonder if he would as he is back to calling MJ as dad, maybe he would if the rift b/w them comes back.
