Well honestly stndaing in place of Sippy’s I don’t think they are wrong for choosing Nishi over Sona. She is their blood, they have known her for years. A sister who raised her brother’s illegitimate child will try to kill her brother is something hard for them to believe. They have no reason to trust Sona who according to them is an outsider and also possibly someone who has changed prenup papers. On top of that no evidence against Nishi is only going to make it easier for her.

And that is precisely why she should stop playing police and detective and leave this job to the actual police and detectives. No one is ever going to believe such accusations coming out of the bahu's mouth who has just barely entered the house some time ago. And they will hate her all the more for saying such things that they simply wont believe about a family member they have known for years. If cops had instead revealed their evidence and stated their suspicions on YK and Nishi, the Sippy family would not have reacted with such anger. Disbelief yes. But not anger and hatred.

Unfortunately this fact cannot be denied how much ever one may like the character. Her revealing everything that she knows to Nishi in such haste and without waiting for the cops to come, is what spurred Nishi to cause this accident.

Truth is truth. Can't cover up people's mistakes.
