Chapter 3

Hospital...

"Did you find something ?" Mj ask when police inspector returned back to hospital after checking accident place.

"We checked truck but there are no truck plate and without plate we can't find truck owner but I think truck driver was drunk so he run away after hitting Rudra car" Police inspector informed them.

Five days later...

"Maya I'm sorry, I saw how maa and bua ji behaving with you" Rudra hold Maya hand, he is seeing from some days how badly Antara and Madhvi bua treating her in hospital & now in home too.

"Rudra its okay, I knew she is hurt to see you again & again getting hurt I understand her situation" Maya pull her hand slowly & put a pillow behind Rudra back a under his fracture hand.

"Thanks" he said when she sat beside him.

"For what?" she pick Roy construction file as now she is working on Rudra place till he recover properly.

"For coming into my life" he pulled file from her hand.

"I'm not that good you think of me" she move close to him to take file back.

"Really" he moved file other side when she try to take it from his hand.

"I need to study this file" she leaned on his shoulder to snatch it.

"You can do this tomorrow" he gazed her eyes & she glanced his lips so close to her.

"I think you are right" she smile naughtily & file slipped from Rudra hand when she kiss him softly taking care of his right hand not to hurt him.

"I'm always right" he smile over her lips hugging her waist with his left one.

4 weeks later... Evening...

"How was your day?" Maya ask taking laptop bag from Rudra. now he is perfectly fine a five day back only doctor cut his plaster and after resting for some more days he again joined office.

"Hectic" Rudra close eyes holding head.

"Are you ok ?" she sat with him on bed.

"this headache is killing me" he lay pulling off his shoes.

"Wait a minute" she bring oil & sat on bed.

"What are you doing ?" he looked her confused as she slip a pillow under his head.

"Mr. Roy I'm just giving you head massage" she said.

"Oh" he smile at her.

"Thanks" he close eyes feel good after her massage.

"Pleasure is all mine Darling!!" she peck his forehead softly.

"Bhabhi don't you think we can get rid of Maya then we can marry Rudra again to some nice girl" Madhvi suggest to Antara.

"Antara ji ask me to come to meet her" Nandini told to Rajeev on call who is now in Delhi for interview.

"But why?" Rajeev ask worried for Maya as he know they don't like her.

"Don't know beta I will see" she talked with him a little then she put down phone.

"What if something again happen to Rudra" Nandini think tense for both Maya & Rudra.

Roy mansion...

"Nandini ji I will come to the point, I can't risk my son life anymore & I think Maya is the case of all the problems in our house, first someone poisoned Rudra food then fire in his room but you see Rudra is the only one who got hurt and his accident now it's enough. I can't see my son hurt anymore" Antara said. Nandini feel fear for Maya now understanding Antara is right on her place.

"So I will say you can take your daughter back to your home, I will send divorce papers in five days" Antara said shocking Nandini.

"Please don't do this" Nandini beg in front of her after coming out of shock.

"There is no use of your begging now, so please go to Rudra room Maya is there, pack her bag so you can take your daughter away from my house & most important away from my son life" Antara said. Nandini has tears she don't know how much her daughter would hurt after knowing about her divorce.

"Maa when you come?" Maya smile at Nandini seeing her on their room door.

"Come please why are you standing there" she pulled her inside room.

"Beta" Nandini looked Maya happy face, she never see her this much happy after that horrible day of her life, she is not understanding how to tell her that her happiness is short living.

"Hmm" Maya smile wait for her to say something.

"Beta you are coming with me" She said. Maya look her in confusion.

"For how many days?" she thinking its just for some days.

"To never return here again" Nandini said. Maya happy face turn pale soon.

"Maa what are you saying?" she ask confused, Nandini grab her hand.

"Antara ji tell she will send divorce papers in five days" she tell shocking Maya.

"She can't do this, how will I live without Rudra" she murmur last line but Nandini heard & she feel sad that her daughter again lost her happiness. she saw how much Maya is happy after her marriage and she know all thanks goes to Rudra!

"Maya" Nandini shake her seeing her lost.

"No I'm not going anywhere" Maya moved away from her & run out of room.

"Beta listen to me" Nandini broke into tears to see Maya running like a mad person.

"Rudra" Maya enter in study room, Rudra get up from chair & see her angry wet eyes.

"You can't leave me, you can't throw me out of your life just this" she shake him holding his shirt collar tightly.

"What are you talking? I'm not understanding anything" he is not getting what she is saying.

"You said you love me then how can you give me divorce" she looked him with her moist eyes.

"What?" he hold her arm in shock.

"Your mother, she tell maa to take me to her home & you are divorcing me" told everything what Nandini told her.

"I think you lost your mind, why would maa say something like this?" he can't believe what she just told him, because it's Antara only who make him marry Maya then why would she think of their divorce.

"Yes I had lost my mind the moment you come into my life, do you got it just because of you Mr. Roy" her hate filled eyes stunned him, until now he thought she don't love him but now he witnessed her hatred for him.

"Maya" he try to touch her but she yank his hand away.

"I know you don't love me, you can never, I'm stupid to give you a chance & you don't deserve anything" she think he isn't change a bit.

"Just stop it Maya do you even know what are you talking?" he made her face him holding her shoulders.

"Yes I know very well what I'm talking and you know what I think you are bored of me now because in name of marriage you are just using me for your body pleasure" she blabber anything in her hurt and anger.

"Maya" Rudra shout in rage.

"I hate you" Maya broke into tears.

"How can you think so low about me?" he takes two step toward her.

"I just hate you" she is hating everything around her.

"Maya" he shake her seeing her murmurings something.

"You don't love me" she looked up to his face still crying.

"How I make you believe I love you" he stroke her cheek, she move close to find solace, Rudra hugged her close dearly. she hold him tightly fearing for something that she herself don't have idea.

Nandini see Rudra entering room with Maya in his arms, he smile at her uncomfortably so she instantly moved out leaving them alone.

"You love me" Maya looked him when he made her lay on bed.

"Yes" he sat beside her holding her hand.

"Then why are you giving me divorce?" she just want to hear from him that he is not leaving her.

"I'm not divorcing you, I promise" he pull sheet till her neck.

"Where are you going?" she grip his hand.

"I need to talk to maa" he peck her forehead before leaving room.
