Actually there are different takes about this. Obviously any illness should be properly treated through medical procedure. Sometimes it depends on the cause of the mental illness . If it's an emotional trauma like betrayal in love, depression which made them like that support and trust from loved ones is also one of the method to deal with these kind of traumas. They call it as" Science of love" Even there was an old Bengali movie based on this. Few articles about this

I think it’s very important for makers to create awareness considering the mass reach.

It would be nice to see Maya in therapy...

Kaha ajkal bhi sudhraha hai 😒 almost har show mein yahi dikhata hai 🤔.

The partner take responsibility to make the partner better with his/ her love 😆

Jo itna saalo mein doctors nahi karpate o unka pyaar kardete hai 🙄🤧.

In some shows when a partner failed in it & the patients died or something worst happened to them tab us partner self guilt mein chale jate hai or story aisa bayana Jata hai jaha yeh established Kiya Jata they couldn't save them with their so called love 😆.

Even in 13 reasons why clay blamed himself over Hanana's death . He thought if he could have say I love you sab kuch thik hojata . People around him made him believe that he definitely killed her because he didn't propose🤣like hell !!🤔.

Maya koi treatment nahi hona Wala iska story same hoga iska Sara dimag thik karne ki responsibility Rudra ka hai and people r already giving him responsibility & have expectations . All r like if anyone can save Maya it's only Rudra . But darling u can't save someone if they want to be saved & it's too bekar to expect other person dedicated their life & soul to save another one .

Makers se zyaada umeed toh hai nahin

But I agree, the partner is usually burdened with everything and rarely do we get to see sensitivity on such issues.

It’s unfortunate because the mass reach of tv is unbelievable.

Therapy and seeking help should be made to be normal.

Betrayal in love & and all ko I really don't consider mental illness. They r certain kind of bad experiences which can be deal with proper time & people obviously.

Depression is more complicated You can be surrounded with thousand of loved ones , can have normal family , love life , friends & still can be dpressed over something.

Some people fight with it & obviously their loved ones support them. Having a loved one gives you motivation for u to be better & it can be anybody their family , friends , pets , works , anything it's really not necessarily romantic kind of love how this shows or stories romanticize everything.

They can motivated you , give you hope but end of the day it's you who have to fight it . Their is no guarantee that love can or will save you so if someone most of the times actually that people failed it's pathetic to Throw them into self guilt or blame them .

I will definitely read them 😃

I think maya’s character needs therapy.. the whole Beyhadh concept is riveting but the makers loses their plot completely (pun intended) and turn her into someone who is on a killing spree while glorifying her 🤦🏻‍♀️

Interesting articles they are mostly discussing about post traumatic stress disorders & how people around us can help us to recover it too .

Broken but beautiful season 1 was about it also. I think they handled the whole thing very maturely.
