The writer is Bengali that's why all the characters are Bengali I think. but question remains why no to show any Bengali culture! it's totally weird.

I doubt the writer is Bengali. They could have reflect something bong in the show. Except the Durga Pooja nothing . Writers always reflect their nature , cultures somehow throughout their story but yaha aisa kuch nahi lagta .

They r somehow picking up Bengali surnames 😆& trying to show them bong but failing.

Bold totally agree . Their topic was interesting & complex . Could have shown more delicately maybe in some different show . One sided love is pretty relatable topic in this days & I think all of us has at least has one such people in our life who experienced it .

Friendship is more fragile than relationship so they should have handle the friendship angle more properly too. But CVS can't handle so many stories together so they ruined it & made it cliched ITV dramas 🤔
