Talking about MayRa, Maya was planning to only use him for revenge but that idea is faltering as she is falling for him. Of course when Rudra finds out her true intention to marry him, he will feel used and cheated but I hope especially about the MJ-Maya angle he will be empathetic and mature. He is today's man and has been shown to be extremely respectful of women. I am looking forward to the track.

As I said Maryaada had a similar angle of the future father in law molesting the lead girl and eventually she fell in love and married the son. The truth was revealed to the son later and he came around and supported his wife.

@bold: EXACTLY. There was just one random flashback and that was very unsatisfactory because all that buildup seemed redundant..

About the show you mentioned [I don’t want to break rules because Razu might get mad at me :( ] it kinda had a very mature way of dealing with the concept and there was no revenge saga. So I remember getting invested in it...

Here, as everyone pointed out, the execution is very sloppy so being wary comes naturally.

Regarding Maya.. the makers need to portray her struggle with her conscience and everything because the flashbacks clearly hinted at Antara being nice to her.
