Just Putting It Out to the Universe

I do not think that Salman deserves to call out people on this faults, when his own life has been a series of controversies and faux pas. A morally culpable human has no space to judge others.

But, in Bigg Boss he has been given this title of a judge, and with his overdramatic antics, a genuinely nasty angry face, and the constant reminder of his position in the industry he has managed to make people believe that Salman Khan's words are not to be taken lightly.

There is favourtism and a fixed narrative in every season of the show. But the good ones have come with this moment of emotional release for the audience, when the makers suddenly grow a conscience and bash the person whose words and actions were being ignored thus far.

(Super cheesy, yes, but also good for the heart! Can you expect anything different from the people who have been brought up listening to the tales of hero vs villain and good vs evil?)

We saw this in last season when surbhi rana and team were given a dressing down. It was almost like a moment of catharsis (too much😉?).

Why can't we have the same this time too? For weeks I have been waiting for the editors and makers to shift gears and use their mouthpiece of a host to remind certain contestants that this is national television, not a zoo, so behave accordingly. But nothing changed.

So with the last bit of hope, putting this out to the universe and...any bigg boss team members that are listening:

Sidharth Shukla and Mahira Sharma deserve to be called out by the host and bashed for their reckless and insensitive behaviour. Please let them have it in the coming days

Yes, I won't deny that it will be satisfying to watch. But more than that, every one needs a dose of humility once in a while. Validating this kind of behaviour, especially for someone as young as Mahira who is only starting out her career, will be detrimental in the long run.

Already this girl is being abused everywhere, online or offline, because she has forgotten that it is a reality show and demeaning someone is not the game. Atleast give her the opportunity to understand that she has infact messed up and prepare herself for the sh*t-storm coming her way once she leaves the house!

As for shukla, anger issues is a personal problem. Be aggressive for all we care, but showing remorse for our mistakes is what makes us human.

Armaan, with anger management issues was favoured too, and he went on to physically abuse his girlfriend in 2018. Vindu is another story altogether. Are these the kind of people that bigg boss makers are supporting?

Let them have it for once! Let them realize that it is NOT okay to use violence at every turn when things do not work out as you expected them to.

It is NOT okay to abuse a person and his family.

It is NOT okay to character assassinate a woman and claim she is using woman card when she speaks out.

It is NOT okay to make fun of someone's illness and pass hurtful statements about a friend.

And it is absolutely NOT okay to smirk and smile when others are being reprimanded for their mistakes and you are not!

These are not the attributes of a winner and these individuals should know it!
