there are several numerous ways to hurt, Hira. The point isn't of hurting. The point is questioning loyalties when you know the painful past of person and that too not fully. Sid’s mind can’t process so much unfortunately. He has no filter and says whatever comes in his heart.

Now when he’s hurt he won’t think, he’ll just say stuff that hurt her even more than he’s hurting atm.

Also I think the parent thing was a BS coverup he indirectly meant you can never be loyal to me.

He’s also clearly in denial that he doesn’t love her.
