I would love if that was true, but I think if that was the case, the scene would have been directed in a manner more so to make audience know that prachi is just looking for excuses out of jealousy, but rather the scene and everything was directed in manner that it clearly seems prachi didn't care at all that ranbir is with another girl.

May be it is my wishful thinking. I'm making myself happy with the thought. Ranbir had to fall in love with this strange girl.

I hope she maintains that stand and don't let doubts cloud her power of judgement. Yeah, that is quite inevitable. Ranbir had to belofy lots of papad to regain her trust.

Prachi I could still understand since despite everything he has done for her, she doesn't know him that well. I.e., in terms of romantic relationships.

Aryan however came as a surprise to me. How does he not stand firm beside Ranbir? Doesn't he know the dude since they were kids? If anything, I would have expected him and the Kohli family to stand strong with Ranbir.
