CHAPTER 2: BEGNNING

PART::: 3

                   Seeing Sakshi in truck Arjun is in shock. He can’t believe on his eyes. When sakshi put her head on his shoulder Arjun snapped and automatically his hand wrapped around her. Aisha is looking at Arakshi. Sameer comes there and looked into truck He saw Arjun is standing hugging sakshi. Sameer and Aisha exchange look. Sameer see sakshi who is not looking well.

SAMEER: Sakshi...

                   Arjun looked back. Hearing Sameer’s voice, sakshi also look up. Arjun makes sakshi walk with him holding her by shoulder. Aisha gives hand to sakshi and slowly and protectively sakshi ko truck se niche utarte hai. Sameer hold sakshi.

SAMEER: Sakshi are you ok?

                   Arjun also come down from truck.

ARJUN: Mein sakshi ko leke hospital jaa raha hoon... Tum yaha dekh Lena... Aisha tum baki ladkiyo ko dekho

                   Arjun goes near sakshi and picked her and starts walking towards SUV. Here Shree Chotu and team come there. They arrested everyone. Sameer hold that driver and push him towards local police.All men are in police custody now. Liza comes there.

LIZA: Sir Sabhi girls ko safe jagah pohcha diya hai... bohat jald vo apne parivaar ke pass hogi... contact kar rahe hai

SAMEER: Good Job... Shree uss truck se bhi girls ko nikalo

SHREE: Sir uss truck mein girls nahi bacche hai

SAMEER: What?

CHOTU: Haan sir

AISHA: yeh log baccho ko bhi smuggle karne wale the...

SAMEER: Shree Aisha Liza take care of kids...

                   Trio nods. Chotu and Sameer went with local police to clear other works.

At Hospital

                   Arjun takes sakshi at hospital. Doctor starts treatment. Arjun is outside the room. He is very restless. He is angry with himself to being careless.

ARJUN: mein itna laaparwah kaise ho sakta hoon... Sakshi missing thi aur maine kuch nahi kiya... Maine usse aise ignore kaise karta hoon... Agar sakshi ko kuch ho jaata toh... No Sakshi ko kuch nahi ho sakta... Sakshi ko kabhi kuch nahi hoga...

                   He slammed his fist on wall in anger. He is walking left right and waiting for doctor. After some time doctor came out. Arjun see him.

ARJUN: Sakshi kaisi hai doctor?

DCOTOR: She is fine... Unhe drugs diye gaye the... Kuch medicines diye hai aur injections bhi... Sath sath unke hath mein choat hai... aur kuch kharoch ke nishan bhi...may be unho ne bohat struggle kiya hoga tab lag gaya...

                   Arjun makes fist in anger.

DCOTOR: Kal afternoon tak unhe hosh aa jayega... proper rest ki zaroorat hai aur kuch nahi... Aap unhe dekh sakte hai

                   Doctor waha se chale jaate hai... Arjun is boiling in anger.

ARJUN: How dare they

                   He looked towards room and decides to see her. He opens door and enter in room. Sakshi is sleeping due to medicines. She is looking pale and weak. Arjun sits there and start caressing sakshi’s head. He saw bandage on sakshi’s head. Her hand also has bandage. Some marks are visible on her hands. This pricks his heart. He bends his head down and kissed her on forehead affectionately. He raised his head and looked at the sakshi's face. He doesn’t know why he did it but his heart feels it right. He holds her hand.

ARJUN: I am sorry sakshi... Mujhe dhyan dena chahiye tha lakin don’t worry jisne bhi yeh kiya hai vo bachega nahi... I promise

                   Same time Sameer and Aisha comes there. Arjun turns and looked back towards door. Sameer and Aisha come in.

SAMEER: Sakshi kaisi hai? Kya kaha doctor ne?

ARJUN: She is fine. Doctor ne rest ke liye bola hai...

                   Sameer nods.

AISHA: behosh hai?

ARJUN: Hmm medicine and drugs ki wajah se... doctor ne kaha hai afternoon tak toh usse hosh aa jayega...

                   Trio looked at sakshi.

ARJUN: Waha sab ho gaya?

SAMEER: Haan... vo log ab humari custody mein hai... Ship lekar jo aaya tha aur jisne paise liye the vo dono ETF ke cell mein hai... driver aur baki ke goons police ki custody mein hai...

ARJUN: Aur girls?

AISHA: Vo bhi safe hai... unko proper treatment diya jaa raha hai aur unke parents se contact bhi kiya jaa raha hai... Sir ek aur baat jiss truck ke piche shree gaya tha uss truck mein bacche the...

ARJUN: What?

SAMEER: Haan... Bohat bada plan bana rakha tha... City mein humari naak niche itna sab chal raha hai aur hume khabar bhi nahi hui...

ARJUN: Right lakin kisi aur ko pata tha... jisne tumhe call kiya... kon tha vo...

AISHA: Aur bhi ek sawal hai... Sakshi waha kaise pohchi?

                   Arjun looked at sakshi.

SAMEER: ab yeh toh sakshi hi bata sakti hai... hume uske hosh mein aane tak wait karna padega

                   Sameer looked at watch.

SAMEER: It’s 7 AM... Aisha tum abhi ghar jaauo aur fresh ho jaauo.... Shree Liza aur Chotu ko bhi bol dena ki kaam hone ke baad ghar jaake fresh ho jaaye... uske baad milte hai

AISHA: Sir mein Sakshi ke sath rukti hoon...

ARJUN: It’s Ok Aisha... Sakshi ke sath mein hoon

             Sameer notice that Arjun is sitting holding sakshi’s hand in his hand. Sameer can feel Arjun’s restlessness and care for Sakshi. He saw something different in his best friend’s eyes. when he said “He is with sakshi” sameer sense seriousness in his voice. Aisha is about to say something but sameer hold her hand and stop her. Feeling hold on her hand Aisha looked at Sameer with surprise. Sameer see her and nods in No.

SAMEER: Fine... Tum ruko... Aisha chalo mein tumhe ghar drop kar deta hoon

                   Aisha nods. Sameer and Aisha left the room. Arjun looked at sakshi. He look around and saw couch so he gets up and sits on couch.

At Some place

                   Rashmi is sitting on chair and sipping coffee. Vikas comes there.

RASHMI: Vikas aauo...

VIKAS: Ma’am Vo boss aur uske admi Etf ki custody mein hai

RASHMI: Perfect... Finally ek mission poora hua... Bacche aur Girls safe hai naa?

VIKAS: yes ma’am... Vo Etf Officer hai naa Shree and Liza... Vo dono dhyan rakh rahe hai...

RASHMI: Aur ACP Arjun?

VIKAS: Vo reporter hai naa Sakshi... uss ko leke hospital gaye hai

RASHMI: Hmm

                   Vikas smiles.

VIKAS: waise ma’am ab toh mujhe apne naam se bulaiiye... I mean vikas ka ab kya kaam hai? usne apne hisse ka kaam poora kar diya hai...

                   Rashmi smiles.

RASHMI: Haan vo bhi hai... Ab Vikas ko bye kehne ka waqut aa gaya hai...

VIKAS: Toh phir ruko mein bas abhi aaya

                   He goes to other room. Rashmi takes her phone from table and check calls.

RASHMI: Abhi tak phone nahi aaya...

                   She takes deep sigh.

RASHMI: daaliyan(Branches)toh kaant di... ab jud(root) ko katne ka waqut aa gaya hai... Etf ko waha tak pohchte der nahi lagegi... iske sath kitab ka ek chapter khatam ho jayega... ab agle panne ko kholne ka waqut aane wala hai...

                   Same time vikas comes in room again. He is handsome guy. He is looking around 25 year old. He is wearing white t-shirt with black jacket and black jeans. No one can recognize him as vikas. He had removed his fake bread and wig.

 VISHAL MALHOTRA (Vikas)

                   Rashmi smiles seeing him.

RASHMI: welcome back Vishal

VISHAL: Thank you ma’am.

                   He sits on chair placed near table.

VISHAL: Thank god... Khud ko dekh ke itni khushi ho rahi hai naa mujhe... Kitne dino se vo nakli bread and wig... Uff!! Pata hai agar meri girlfriends ne mujhe dekh liya hota na vikas ke dress mein meri toh band baj jaati.

RASHMI:Girlfriends!? Kitno ko phasa rakha hai?

VISHAL: Abhi toh ek hi hai...lakin purani wali se bhi kabhi kabhi mil leta hoon

                   Rashmi nods in negative. Vishal smiles and then looked at Rashmi.

VISHAL (being serious): Waise Ma’am ab next...

RASHMI: Thoda wait karo... pehle iss human trafficking ke case ko solve hone dete hai... but dhyan rahe Vishal... vo dono boss jo etf ke custody mein hai unhe tab tak kuch nahi hona chahiye jab tak vo apne boss ka naam nahi batate... ek baar vo saboot de de bas...

                   Vishal nods.

After some hours...

At Hospital

                   Sakshi gain conscious and she slowly open her eyes. She found herself in hospital. She remembered how Arjun took her hospital. She looked around and saw Arjun who is sleeping on couch. She smiles a bit. She looked at her hand which has bandage. She is feeling thirsty.She looked at side table. Water is kept on table. She tries to get up but her injured hand is paining. She again tries to gets up. Suddenly strong hands hold her. One hand holds her back and other hand hold her hand. She looked up and found Arjun. Arjun also looked at her. Both lost into each other’s eyes. Arjun is first to snapped. He helps her to sit properly. Sakshi sits leaning herself on headboard.

ARJUN: Hosh aaya hai... theek nahi ho gayi ho...

SAKSHI: Vo Aap so rahe the aur mujhe pyaas lagi thi so

                   Arjun poured water in glass and give it to sakshi. Sakshi drinks it. Arjun takes glass from her hand and put it on side table. Other team members come there. Seeing sakshi they smiled.

AISHA: how are you sakshi?

SAKSHI: Fine

SHREE: Accha hua tujhe hosh aa gaya... Teri awaz nahi suni thi naa toh dil hi nahi lag raha tha

                   Sakshi smiles.

SAMEER: Sakshi tum sach mein theek ho naa?

SAKSHI: I am fine Mickey... Don’t worry

ARJUN: mein doctor ko inform karke aata hoon

                   Arjun went to inform doctor.Other sits near sakshi. Arjun come with doctor. Doctor checked her.

DCOTOR: Fine... Sab theek hai... Drugs ka asar bhi almost khatam ho chuka hai... Bas rest aur time pe medicines... itna dhyan rakhiyega

SAKSHI: Toh doctor mujhe discharge mil jayega naa?

DCOTOR: Aaj toh nahi... abhi ek din yaha rehna padega... kuch tests hai

                   Sakshi makes face. Doctor waha se chale jaate hai.

CHOTU: Muh kyun bana rahi hai?

SAKSHI: Mujhe ghar jaana hai...

SHREE: Aree accha hai naa... Hospital mein rahogi toh Etf se chutti mil jayega

                   Sakshi smiles.

LIZA: But sakshi tum thi kaha? Aur waha kaise pohchi?

SAKSHI: Actually Mujhe kuch information mili thi toh mein bas check karne gayi thi... Waha pohchi toh dekha ki kuch admi bahar pehra lagaye khade the... mein jaise taise andar pohchi aur dekha ki ek kamre mein kuch bacche hai and dusre mein ladkiyan... Tabhi ek admi ne mujhe pakad liya...

AISHA: Aur itni choat?

SAKSHI: Vo unn logon se khud ko bacha ne ke chakkar mein... vo boss kuch zyada hi batmeezi kar raha tha... ussi ko sabak sikhane jaa rahi thi ki uske ek dusre admi ne mere hath pe waar kar diya aur choat aa gayi...

                             Arjun hearing all this without uttering a single word but whatever sakshi said is make him angry.He is boiling in anger.

ARJUN (in rage): Agar tumhe information mili thi toh humare pass aati... waha akele jaane ki kya zaroorat thi?

SAKSHI: I was just checking ki information sahi yaa nahi...

ARJUN: are you out of your mind sakshi? Aisi jagah pe akele check karne pohch gayi... how careless you are... I mean itni zyada laparwahi... Tumhe idea bhi hai ki tumhari jaan ko kitna bada khatra tha? Zindagi se khelna tumhe bohat pasand hai naa? Lakin yeh koi khel nahi hai... poora waqut nahi kabhi kabhi toh apne brilliant thoughts side pe rakh ke socha karo...

                   Sakshi looked at him with surprise.

SAKSHI(thought): kya insaan hai yaar... kon kahega ki kuch minutes pehle yeh meri pyaar se help kar raha tha... He is beyond of my understanding...

SAMEER: Sakshi this time rawte is right. You should have informed us... waha akele nahi jaana chahiye tha tumhe...

ARJUN: Leave It Rathod... isko samjane ka koi fayda nahi hai...

AISHA: But sakshi tumhe information mili kaise? Itni badi smuggling ki information ek reporter ko milna... quiet strange

SAKSHI: Mere bhi kuch informers hai... and mujhe koi smuggling ka information nahi mila tha... mujhe bas yeh pata chala tha ki kuch ladkiyan waha bandh hai... mujhe idea nahi tha ki itni badi planning hogi

                   Arjun narrowed his eyes and looked at sakshi. He feels something fishy. Arjun threw one hard look to her and then leave the room.

SAKSHI: Sameer sab pakde gaye naa?

SAMEER: Haan... vo do boss bhi humari custody mein hai...

SAKSHI: aur bacche and ladkiyan?

SAMEER: Vo sab safe hai                

                   Sakshi nods.

SAMEER: Ab tum aram karo... team hume jaana hoga... (looking at sakshi) take care meri Minnie

SAKSHI: Yup don’t worry

                   Sameer went out.

LIZA: Hum baad mein aayenge milne... koi bhi problem ho yaa baat ho toh hume call kar dena

AISHA: Aur if you need something tab bhi bata dena

                   Biding bye to Sakshi all left for ETF Headquarters.

ETF Headquarters

                   All reached headquarters. Arjun is still angry. As soon as they enter in office Arjun went towards Etf cell.

SAMEER: Rawte kaha jaa rahe ho?

                   Arjun didn’t reply and keep walking.

SAMEER: Rawte...

                   Sameer starts follow him. Arjun reached at cell. He directly goes near man and holds him by collar. He starts beating him without any mercy. Sameer reached there and try to stop him.

SAMEER: Rawte kya kar rahe ho...leave him...

                   But Arjun is Arjun. He keeps beating him. Sameer try his best to stop him.

SAMEER: Rawte chodo usse... mar jayega

ARJUN: nahi Rathod... He deserved it... Isne sakshi ke sath batmeezi ki hai... iski himmat kaise hui sakshi se batmeezi karne ki... he has to pay for this...

                   Team come there and seeing Arjun they are stunned. Shree and chotu looked at each other and gulped. This side Sameer,

SAMEER: Rawte kanoon usse saza dega... leave him...rawte it’s my order...

                   He pulled Arjun harshly and bit strongly...

SAMEER: I said Leave him

                   Arjun looked at Sameer with anger.

SAMEER: Pagal mat bano...

ARJUN: Sameer yeh...

SAMEER: Damn It rawte... dekho isse... kya haal kar diya hai tumne iska... control yourself...

                   Sameer looked at Shree and Chotu.

SAMEER: Chotu doctor ko bulauo...

                   Chotu nods. Sameer looked at Arjun with anger. Arjun also glared at man and then Sameer and waha se chale jaate hai. Sameer take deep sigh.

After a hour

                   Sameer, Aisha and Shree are in conference room. Sameer is thinking about Arjun’s reactions.

SAMEER(Thought): Kya kar raha hai Rawte... uski aankhe kuch aur hi bol rahi hai... Kya Rawte uske liye taiyar bhi hai... kahi vo halat ki wajah se jazbati hoke toh react nahi kar raha?

                   He is in thought and looking at one side continuously. Aisha and Shree notice him. Shree lean towards aisha and speak in slowly,

SHREE: Yeh Rathod sir kaha khoye hue hai?

AISHA: Kya pata? Shayad Arjun sir ne jo kiya uske baare mein soch rahe hai

SHREE: Arjun sir ne jo usse peeta hai naa...baap re... Marte marte reh gaya vo... Arjun sir ko gusse mein dekha hai lakin iss had tak gussa...pehli baar dekha yaar...

AISHA: Vo toh hai... Arjun sir aaj kuch zyada hi gussa ho gaye the...

                   They again looked at Sameer.

Arjun’s cabin

                   Arjun is sitting on chair and twirling pen. He is still restless. He is thinking about his actions. He is angry on himself. At first he was angry that Sakshi was in such a big trouble, yet he could not help her. Then when the sakshi said that the man had misbehaved with her his anger increased. The result was that he beat the man so much without thinking but behind all this there is only one fear what if something happened to her?

                   His chain of thought breaks and he threw his pen in frustration.

ARJUN: Mujhe itna fark kyun pad raha hai? kyun?

                   He banged his fist on table.He took out some old files and start reading them to just divert his attention.

At Hospital

                   Sakshi is sitting on bed. Randeep is there.

RANDEEP: Theek toh ho?

SAKSHI: Randeep ek hi sawal kitni baar puchoge...

RANDEEP: Accha matlab tumhe mere sawal puchne se hi problem ho raha hai aur tune jo mujhe pareshan kiya vo... pata hai saans atak gayi thi meri...

SAKSHI: Randeep...

RANDEEP: Kya randeep... main Tujhse bohat naraz hoon samji tum... chali gayi waha... mujhe bhi nahi bataya...

SAKSHI: Mujhe jo theek laga wahi kiya hai maine... aur tum bhi jaante ho ki jaan ka darr toh mujhe waise bhi nahi hai...

RANDEEP: Tujhe nahi hoga.... Mujhe toh hai naa... Mere liye toh teri jaan kimti hi hai iss liye please aisa mat kiya kar...

SAKSHI: Ok baba fine... I am sorry

RANDEEP: Good...

                   Sakshi smiles.

RANDEEP: waise yeh Arjun ka kya chakkar hai?

                   Sakshi looked at him with confusion.

RANDEEP: pehle tujhe nikala... uske baad tujhe daant ke hurt kiya aur jab tujhe problem hui toh achanak se care karne laga aur uske baad phir gussa hoke chala gaya... Kya admi hai yaar

SAKSHI: usko samjna toh kisi ke bas ka nahi hai... Vo hi janta hai ki vo kya sochta hai...But Randeep aaj naa usse dekh ke yeh ehsaas hua ki vo jitna arrogant aur khadoos hone ki koshish karta hai naa vo aisa hai nahi... kahi naa kahi uske piche ek caring and loving Arjun chhupa hua hai...

RANDEEP: Hmm...aur tu uss Arjun ko wapas laana chahti hai...

                   Sakshi looked at him.

RANDEEP: Hai naa?

                   Sakshi said nothing.

RANDEEP: Sakshi...I don’t know mein tujhe kya kahu... Look sakshi kuch bhi kar mein tere sath hoon lakin kuch bhi karne se pehle ek baar soch zaroor lena...

                   Sakshi nods. Randeep stay with her for some more time and then chala jaata hai.

                   At Night Team comes hospital to meet sakshi. Sometime later sameer bought dinner for all and all had dinner with sakshi so she feel good. When Shree and chotu tell sakshi about Arjun’s anger sakshi was stunned. Liza decided to stay with sakshi at night. After sometime all went to their home. Sakshi checked watch and its 11 PM. Liza helped Sakshi to sleep properly and then after wishing good night and lay on couch. Sakshi can’t sleep. She again checked time. It’s 12 AM. After morning,Arjun did not come to meet her even once and did not call..She waits for Arjun. Time passed but Arjun nahi aate. Due to heavy dose of medicine slowly sakshi drift into sleep. Around 1 AM Arjun enters in room. He saw sakshi is sleeping peacefully. He keeps looking at her for some good minutes and then waha se chale jaate hai.

Next Morning

                   Team is at Etf headquarters. Today they are going to shift that bosses to other special cell. They are busy in paper work and some other official works. Soon van comes and unko uss mein bithaya jaata hai. Chotu and Shree unn ke sath van mein bethte hai. Aisha and Liza are at office. Arjun and Sameer followed that van in their SUV.

                   In middle suddenly Van ke tier puncture ho jaate hai. Shree and chotu exchange look. Men looked at each other and smiles. Sameer applied break. Dono car se bahar aate hai and van ke pass jaate hai. Shree and chotu bhi bahar aakar check karte hai. Issi baat ka fayda utha ke vo men waha se bhaag ne ki koshish karte hai. Arjun saw this and follow them. Shree and sameer also run behind them. Arjun is about to caught them but suddenly someone shoot both the men. Sameer looked at bushes and found one man with black mask. Sameer run behind him. This side Chotu calls ambulance. Arjun sits near men.

MAN 1: Tumhe kya laga tha ACP... hume pakad liya toh sab khatam ho jayega... bilkul nahi...Hum toh sirf mohre the...

ARJUN: Kon hai tum logon ka boss?

MAN 2: Apne aap ko bohat hoshiyar samjte ho naa... khud dhundh lena... iss khel ka pakka khiladi hai vo...

                   Before Arjun asks, both die.
