Exactly murder is too lame in the world of mind games. There is so much she can do with Roy's but ofcourse she wants physical pain. Again its on writers who think murder is the only thing that creates suspense and dark drama.

they don't have the brain to come up with any elaborate mind games. if they do, then it will be filled with bloopers.

Now that Maya committed her first murder, the rest won't be all that thrilling ( not that rishi's murder was) because we know what is coming. it will become monotonous.

so diya would get pregnant toh kya nahi karta woh.. to save his name .... n dadi would have loathed rishi to the core if he would be diya';s son..

so rishi is his and antara's child i guess..
