The thing is they just presented us a sophisticated Maya and while she did have element of madness, she was shown as a smart calculative woman that camoflagued her evil sanki side. It felt like she was capable of softer emotions like love/care but not anymore.

Maya was presented as a confident and intelligent women. She is traumatized but there is a mix of madness and emotions within her. She could do many things for her revenge but not take a life. Killing is a whole different ball game, especially such a slow painful death. Rishi was not her enemy so why give him this much pain? because this is beyhadh? that one line normalizes everything? Her character is contradictory, the execution is flawed

Beyhadh just took a dark turn yesterday.

It's totally CVS fault because that's how they were portraying Maya from the Beginning it will take time for audiences to accept Maya the way they saw her in yesterday's episode . An obssesive person who may have a consicence but not enough that can stop her to take her revenge

People need more to understand her character & her psychology , like yesterday one person said in this journey we will may understand what she did , why she did & how she become like this . Nothing can justify her act & no one will after yesterday's episode u can't pass her character by saying she is a gray Character but she is mostly borderline black Character who may have some gray shades . Give sometime people will understand it more with proper background story & Character development.

My point exactly. CV's executed it horribly. they should have revealed the entire past and pushed back rishi's death. but they were in a hurry to make it thrilling and get ratings.

The point about her character is She isn't normal . Whatever normality she had she will kill it with her every step. Extreme obsession is in anything be it love or hate will only bring destruction no matter what. Obsession is an illnesses also which only grow with time . It's too long Maya going through her trauma she didn't seek for help in right time which only increase her illness. No matter how much now anyone else try they can't change her or her Motive . They can't save her . Because mental illness don't just fine in two days drama . It's more complicated than that .

This show content lots of complicated things CVS could have done better than this to potrayed it .

In my last show the villian ( Emir) had an depressing childhood & his father was evil the way he brought him up . That made him what he was people were sympathetic , we wanted him to find peace too . It was upsetting to see that he never understand the true meaning of love . One episode he was so good & another Episode he was merciless. We couldn't just pass his character as a gray shade just because of he had a f***Ed up background story . You can understand their darkness but that doesn't justify how he ruined , manipulated , destroyed innocents lives over his obsession . He used to say he is obsession is his sickness & only his sickness will go with his dead

Obsession in like poison in blood . It will slowly going to spread in your body & killed you . With the death only it will go out their system.

Same for Maya you can understand her darkness & when it's coming from but nothing more . Her obsession also will kill her & her destroying MJ will be her salvation. Only with her dead she get will get rid of the poison which MJ might installed in her system , blood .

CVS never wanted to show revenge Justice that's why they didn't make a heroine who playing mind games & only destroying her opponents emotionally then handing them over police .

CVS wanted to show revenge of destruction & destroy which will only come with death of people emotionally & physically .

CVS established the whole thing pretty late 😏 which trigger the whole mess . Planning , plotting , executing part is pretty weak & full of loopholes they should have work on it more .

I agree her presentation initially and what she did yesterday are contradictory.
