The show reminds me of baazigar. Rishi has to get out of picture for Maya to pursue Rudra. Donno if he is gonna die next week but for Maya and Rudra to be together Rishi should not be in the same frame.

How will all this maya and rishi marriage nonsense happen without rudra finding out about them? Rishi at some point has to let out that he and maya love eachother.
