SRK to be twelfth man!

Shah Rukh Khan is leaving no stone unturned for his new IPL team – Kolkatta Knight Riders.

From music videos to performances the actor is pulling out all stops to ensure that this Bollywood and cricket marriage is a successful one. Reliable sources tell us that Khan will be signing himself up as the twelfth man for his team and will be seen supporting his team on the pitch.

"Shah Rukh is going to be the twelfth man… the reserve... the man who will bring drinks in between overs, new bats and gloves for the men on the pitch. He is going to be involved every step of the way," says our source.

But Khan being Khan, he isn't going to be just any ordinary reserve. This twelfth man will be entertaining the crowds at half time as well.

"SRK has roped in the Moranis and Ganesh Hegde to choreograph and manage his performance. There are going to be a total of nine matches in Eden Gardens in Kolkatta – the home ground of his team – where he will be performing live in the break. They will be erecting a huge stage which will take up almost one entire section in the stands. And each live act will be spectacular and will see SRK dance along with other Bollywood heroines like Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra," says our source.

And its not just fun and entertainment as far as Khan is concerned.

The actor who already has five sponsors – HDIL, Reebok, Belmonte, The Telegraph and Tag Heuer – has promised to take on more sponsorship for each of his acts. And although Red Chillies is asking close to 50 lakhs for each act we hear that considering the fact that the Shahrukh Khan will be promoting the brand himself, there doesn't seem to be a dearth of eager sponsors!
