My random analysis for the episode and the characters:

Antara

Without sounding too depressing, I know women in my life who have put up with emotionally and verbally abusive husbands and they are the ones who have been married for the longest time. For them, they came with this ideology ingrained in their heads where leaving their husbands was completely unacceptable. They were TAUGHT to put up with everything.

True story: “Doli mein jaana aur dole mein aana” is a REAL thing I’ve heard someone say right before a wedding.

We can not even comprehend their psychology. So breaking away and standing up for themselves overnight, doesn’t come naturally to them. So unfortunately, I understand her predicament.

Now, her description of the Roy brothers was bang on and she has pegged Rishi as “lambi race ka ghoda nahin hai” and is just shredding him away from the family. Now, Rudra on the other hand, she HAS developed a soft corner for him and would die before she admits it.

Hasn’t Maya just described him perfectly? He would fight the whole world for anyone if he holds their hand. Today, it was his mum, he gave her the strength but didn’t push her too far. Also, he is SO DONE with being lied to.
