Caught up with 50+ pages and since everyone is pitching in their theory, here is mine:

MJ and Maya were involved. The scene where Antara is gifting her a jewelry piece, she says excuse me and leaves. There’s a little emphasis on that and it kinda implies that MJ and Maya were left alone.

Rudra and Maya aren’t linked because cmon!! They were with different partners. Also that ā€œRudra used to arrange the annual partyā€ can mean nothing. He might study abroad and only arrive for the sake of the party. Also it just takes a call from the elite to get the best of the best arrange everything for them. He didn’t necessarily have to be involved.

I think they gifted a watch to Maya..Though Antara left from there Maya definitely would've known that Antara and MJ are couple..Bcoz Antara is wearing MangalSutra.. I feel that Maya and MJ didn't involve in a relationship but definitely Rudra was somehow connected with Maya's past

When he studies abroad why only he had to organise this annual party? MJ himself can do that na..It doesn't connect the dots

I end up watching the episodes too late, hence my overall thoughts are always late.

1. I can dedicate a seperate thread to Jenny's acting. The woman is so damn impressive and Cv's know this, they take extra care to present her beautifully. Her entry to the party, from the moment she stepped out of the car was stunning. The camera work and the atmospheric music set the right mood for the episode. The two moments in time are juxtapositioned next to one another; There is the wide eyed maya, untainted by the world's evils then 10 years later, A different Maya. Clad in black, battle ready and hardened by the past. Jennifer showing the two versions effortlessly, and inciting the right kind of emotions in the audience. This woman is just brilliant and I can only hope she continues to get roles that take advantage of her talent.

2. The Scene which set the forum on fire.

Clearly it wasn't part of an elaborate plan, maya had to improvise in order to avoid Rishi. There is nothing I have to say that hasn't been said already except, Maya was on unfamiliar grounds. she is affected by rudra's proximity and she did not take that into account in her grand scheme. Rudra is attracted to maya; her aura, her mystery and it was pretty evident throughout the episode. He was restless for her arrival and then when she pulled him to a corner, he was breathless. Loved the awkwardness and discomfort especially because maya was not faking then.

Lastly, Shivin is such a revelation. every day, im impressed by him. Yesterday, he was so good in that button up scene. He had no dialogues but every emotion was conveyed through his expression. It is nice to have a male lead who can hold his own in front of Jenny. In beyhadh 1, she was acting circles around kushal.

You caught up the 50+ pages !! PatiencešŸ‘

I also think that was intentional & it could be as Antara does everything MJ tells her to do.

Rudra can be in abroad. That's the only thing justifies why he doesn't know Maya even when she was so close to everyone. Rishi can be too young to remember anything.
