Vijay sir, old design/site was also ad driven website right? 😆...but we never had ads in between the paras in a post in old design/site😆...we have more ads now compared to old site..😆

If you ask me to share my thoughts.., I'm not asking for COMPLETELY ad free version of site...i'm only asking to avoid ads in between the paras of a post 😆...If i have to choose among paid and free version ..i will definitely choose free version😆...Just bcz to avoid ads, i dont think i will pay...😆...Not only me,no one pays i feel😆....But still out of curiosity ..what more features you would like to introduce in ad -free/ Paid version ? How much will be the subscription fee? 😆

Dear Sutapasima,

We have kept Ads to the minimum. We are ad-supported and we need that to keep this site running and to fuel its growth.

We are not a well funded site and we are heavily dependent on it to bootstrap its growth.

In an ideal world there should be no Ads and but we all know it’s not possible to run this site without that unless we have another viable option available.

So we strive to strike a balance between ads and user experience.

We welcome your suggestions and through this engagement I get to understand the issues and feedback.

Regarding Paid version don’t worry it’s not happening anytime soon. It’s very much a nascent idea. 😊 Else I would have shared it as a separate topic.

We take your feedback and will try to further optimize ad deliverability.

Thank you for your feedback. And we take all of it well.

Here are some of the ideas in the pipeline and we would like to take up next.

For ex:

1. Allowing users to upload images instead of hot linking.
2. Links shared on forums should automatically get the page details as we see on other social media.
3. Instant Chat.
4. Members Karma Points and Badges. (Points redeemable to something In future)
5. Better Search.
6. AI based Content recommendation customized for each user.
7. Mobile App For iOS and Android.
8. Forum Topics should have more types like Question/ Answer, Vote Up a post.
9. Make fan fictions attractive and easy to navigate. Practically a new interface.
10. Real Time notification instead of page refresh.
11. User feed to see everything of my interest on one page.

Do share your feedback and you can add to this list.

1....Request you to restrict the Ads to the margins all around ..not inject it in the post ..disrupting the flow ....

2...copying of pics from PM is not supported through mobile ... can you correct it please .. it is supported in only from posts in main forum .

3...Please deploy more Moderators...Channel mods and GMs .. for better control n management

I am really happy to see your to do list & Ideas you are putting in are really good … seems like we will be getting some good features in coming time. To add on to this list I have few suggestions:

1. Fan Fiction should have TAG, VOTE & FOLLOW & COMPLETE options along with real time notifications as you mentioned which will help writers to track their readers & people who follow & comment on the fiction which will make it more user friendly you can check Wattpad too have such features.

2. Members who are not active from last 6 to 8 months should be shown differently in friend’s list like in different color so that people can make out that they are not active

3. Chat option is really a good suggestion & please make sure that privacy is not an issue in this like today we have with our Slam book, testimonials etc.

4. Last & most important that Mobile App should be having all the new features that you have listed & should be light in space

We are facing some important issues since long it might be small for you but are quite important from user’s point of view:

1. First PM issue is resolved but view of only first 10 is visible in Outbox out of 20 & we get notifications & details of only those 10 not the other kindly rectify this I noticed when I started writing after a break & confirmed with my friends experiencing myself

2. Security & privacy is really an issue as requested before Slam book, Scarps & testimonials etc. are still visible to all, like before we need to restrict it back & it will be a user’s will to share it or not to friends or to all as per preferences

3. Even as informed you before like No copy only deactivates mouse option not the keyboard option so kindly introduce such options so that privacy is not hampered, You can check the pervious references list of old site which will be helpful

4. Draft & Save option is not working properly even if we halt for a longer time written matter vanishes out so kindly check the same & rectify as it’s quite useful for us & it should work properly.

5. Dashboard is still not updated everything except PM is blank & not recognized please set the dashboard back to normal it looks more apt & informative like we had before.

6. Still we cannot search PM's by friends name like before if we click on that option entering the friends name it shows all the PM's of that friend kindly check that too .

I am really hopeful that all this suggestions are taken into consideration & do give us updates on the app too so that it can be downloaded & we can enjoy with better experience.
