other than the names.. nothing in the show relates to Archies comics. Castle ended bcoz Nathan wanted more importance to his character over Stana - there was a big fuss about it.. Stana put down her papers after the last season, channel didn't want to risk the show & show was heading no where either.. New show makers had no clue what they were showing... old one left to make a new show which flopped too 😆

There was huge drama back in the day - IMDB had forums with all this discussion, they closed the entire forum section later on due to moderation issues 😆
