A request to CVs to never ever get back that Anurag, that was not Anurag Basu, never. That was my worst nightmare of anurag, and i felt so sad that Anurag was not him anymore. Instead I would love the Anurag from Naveen Babu times to react in such situations, the way he used to bug Prerna abt her marriage with old guy.
He is soft, straightforward and caring, such qualities of him is what attracted me to Anurag, AnuPre and the show, bcos he was not typical.
Yes they do and that's fine... That is what make us individuals with different perspectives, unique for that matter...
Yeah, Anurag from Naveen Babu times was an atypical ML, who believed in communication and persuasion rather than the alpha-manliness, hence manhandling and pinning to walls of female leads. One reason, which I feel, made TRP audience connect with Anurag, and root for his goodness.
However, the situation I have pointed out (i.e. Anu knowing about Prerna's sacrifice, and him seeing blood-sanguined, pregnant Pre, who he feels an unknown pull towards) are different situations and different dynamics than what AnuPre had at time of NB.
So, I wanted different reaction from anurag in these situations because the situations I have mentioned are high on emotional -quotient, hence, the reaction should have been gut-wrenching too.
However, when I said angsty, I didn't refer to self-destructive angst, but angst that emanates from helplessness, realization, regret, guilt and probably the emotional-fragility of the moment.
