Baat NK ki ho rahi hai , i hope i can put in my 2 cents. Sorry if i shouldn't be posting here .

You all are making me miss NK so much . That 10 year leap was crap . The essence of Nk was totally lost . But the barbaadi started with Neela ma ka death twist. It was so not needed. There were 100 other things to explore . I always wanted Avni to have a normal life atleast in her marital home , where she wasn't considered manhoos or something .. i wanted her to have her normal happy family wala dream come true , see for herself how amazing a father Neil is and not every dad is an Ashish Mehta , not every granny is dayawanti. Win over her recurring insecurities and fear of not becomingnlike any of her mother's . I wanted her to pursue her dream to become a director or do something that she wanted to do then .

But what to do , it was all not meant to be . .

The PH was giving step child like treatment too .. Roshni , you remember there wasn't even a small cake from the PH for the farewell day / last day of the shoot ? That bad was the treatment it recieved from PH and channel . It was fans who sent some cakes andnthey cut those on the last day.

Promos bhi nahi milte the.. i see the same happening in KHKT . But thankfully after the recent 2 weeks trps ,starplus seems to have come back from its slumber party regarding khkt.

Sarcy , about the offscreen segments of aditi / karam and Zain you can check aditi's birthday segments and the segments around the dargah episode and fake Ali murder wala episodes in the initial days ..

Zain and aditi saying with straight face Ali mar gaya And aditi's Neil Ganna 😆

For me personally , i realized that i had loved only Neil and Avni not Zain and aditi . Felt aditi a bit relatable from what was public , but that's that .. nothing more.

I do wish Aditi and Zain good luck and all the wonderful things that they wish to have but i dont think i will be keen on their future projects.

I really hope KHKT has a decent run without comprising the characters to a great extent there by making them khokla from within . And probably KVG will be the first hero whom i am gonna like as himself too and not just Dr Rohit Sippy ..dekhte hain ☺️

Right from the time I hadn't even started watching NK, I knew that the leap must be bakwaas. And after reading the synopsis of every episode till the end, my belief was only reinforced. They managed to create such beauty with AvNeil and their characters and the story still had so much potential - if only they had explored it further. The show could have easily gone on for another few years without ruining the essence of their characters. With each episode that I near the leap, I'm dreading it!

Neela maa was such an iconic character and she always kept ensuring that she brought these two together - pushing them towards each other evwry time they even dared drift. Her death definitely was not needed. No surprise that they ended up with a stupid 10-year separation - Neela ma jo nahin thi inhe baandhe rakhne ke liye.

Why was the PH giving the show step treatment? Weren't the TRPs good enough? The show also had a huge fan base from what I hear - so then what went wrong? And why?

I'll surely check out the segs you mentioned once I'm done with the show. I'll end up scouting for them quite a bit. 😆

Even though we liked Aditi and Zain, Zain's new show didn't appeal to us as much. So it will take some iconic character opportunities for us to follow their shows again.

Regarding KHKT, I also hope they maintain the essence of the characters and have a good run without ruining the leads. That is the biggest problem of itv shows.

Exactly..he is gonna be my first ofscreen liking too (upto this extent) i just love everything about him and specially the way he treats and aooreciate everyone..be it his family, friends, cast and crew, dipika and evwn fans! He is humble..down to earth..sarcastically funny😂..and what not! I can go on and on about this man!

About the treatment meted out to NK , it was the similar story as KHKT so far as far as the channel is concerned .Trps were 1.6/ 1.7 ish most of the times . So channel had this negligence and zero promotions .

Added to that That PH had launched some new show then, i think on colors and they had spent all their energy and resources on that show neglecting this one .

One good thing with KHKT is the PH is valuing it and it's leads . Touchwood , really.

Yeh toh hai but he is an excellent actor .. very convincing and good looks and the charm is a biiig bonus to make Rohit sippy adorable .

Best part is he is written well too most of the times , except fir few instances or tracks , Rohit sippy was pretty much rational and kvg's portrayal makes him relatable and adorable.

But dekhte hain aage aage kya hota hai ..i really hope they retain the charm and USP of this show amidst all that is needed to run the show successfully .. ITV is unpredictable na .

I really wish the show works wonders or for that matter any show which has been given air time ,however bakwaas it might be for the audience , must work for decent amount of time , coz bahut logon ka ghar chalta hai ek show se.

Yess! I loved that episode! Neil was so quick to clarify what position she holds in his life vs Avni, his wifey. ❤️

My goodness, thank the lord this wasn't the typical itv drama else it would take weeks, if not months, for the ML to clear his views on his ex. Neil is love. Every. Single. Time.

Amol killing Daya turned out to be karma. She kept clinging to Amol and brought him up in the most corrupt way possible and he was the one who ended up putting an end to her existence. And the drama was funnn! Bechare Neil ka stress level kya high ho gaya tha when Avni was all set to die and finish the pain once and for all.

And yes, the confession scene of Neil was beautifully done. So simple, yet so touching. Neil's expressions every time someone calls Avni manhoos or when Avni calls herself unlucky are so painful and tortured, it's as if someone is driving a wedge through his heart. Zain nails it every damn time! This guy has so much potential as an actor. I really hope gets some good scripts in future.

Haha, Prakash and Shweta were indeed not classy enough to be Neil Khanna's parents but when they toned down Prakash's concerns about money, they managed to strike a balance between both their characters. Also, shaadi ke pehle din hi his son demanded they bid for Mehta house - the old, money-minded Prakash would have had a heart failure if his son bought the house for 25 crores! 🤣But I really loved that scene.

Despite it being a bride swap, the maturity which with Neil handled the relationship was impressive. His anger was so justified on that day but he kept it very much in control by not throwing Avni around or making grand threats of how he'd ruin her life or make it a living hell, and as soon as Neela spoke to him explaining her reasons, he was still upset but he understood. Neil Khanna started becoming husband goals from day 1. 😳

Chalega...maybe even Mandy n rosh can join us🤗

I would have loved to see the journey of Prakash khanna from that money minded guy to the one easily sponsoring 25 cr😆 They always showed he was a mature guy beneath that casual behaviour of his, so I didn't mind that maturity or understanding coming from him. But money?😆 Mera heart fail ho gaya suddenly uski generosity dekhke😆

The wedding night episodes were indeed beautiful. There were no hidden motives. On the same night Avni assured Neil that she won't burden herself on him n will free him soon. Neela didn't hold back the truth either. She told him the reason she made Avni sit in the mandap and also told him that she can see love n concern in his eyes. It is her words that made Neil think over the happenings and he decided to be in this marriage. Neela emotionally blackmailed Avni too to be in this marriage. My heart broke into pieces when Avni cried at Neela's door. Poor girl didn't deserve to hear that from the only person that was hers in the whole damn world. Can't imagine how terrible neela must have felt to say all those things to her. Loved Prakash when he didn't bother about anything but wanted give his daughter in law all the respect. The way he told Neil to be nice to her as she's his responsibility now n the way he said swagat hai tumhara, I was already rooting for this papa beti Jodi!!! None of these 2 forced avneil to stay in this marriage for the sake of society or giving undue importance to sidoor mangalsutra n all those shitty dialogues. Such logical n sane parents were a treat to watch. I loved Ali too. Though he was upset with Avni at first, it was not for her marrying Neil but for taking the decisions alone. That guy didn't doubt her once that she was in love with Neil. I adore their friendship...the way they r always there for eachother is so cute!! Due to these wedding night episodes, avneil wedding is my second most favourite wedding on itv😳
