I can say the exact same thing about RB. I loved RB coz KSG was playing it. But since I wasn't active when RB became some enigma, and was a kid, I can't relate to that sort of craze. And since the story as such was shit, I didn't know what to root for at all. 😆 But I loved Asad man. Idk whether I loved Asad coz KSG played him or love KSG coz he played Asad. God knows whom I love more. 😆 However, I am SO glad I didn't watch DMG first coz otherwise I wouldn't have been able to fall in love with Asad as freely as I did. I didn't even know who KSG was. 😆 When I fell, I fell hard though. However when I watched DMG later, I fell in love all over again coz Armaan was NOTHING like Asad. Like even looks wise they were so different. I was wondering how someone can look SO different in two different roles. Same thing when I watched Boss. Never seen him that way, and I could never picture his Asad or Armaan look as Kohli. 👏Originally posted by: manzilmukul
I think with actors changing and all, Ayaan somehow got shadowed!
Also, Asya skyrocketed, I never loved Asad as a man. I still am not able to but I loved KSG as Asad. He made it look so gullible and wonderful!
Gul’s fascination is typically Mr Darcy Knockouts. The Broken and arrogant man and the feistier girl. Clash and BOOM!
I always wanted to see a story where same people were pitched against each other.
Gul’s another show Dil Toh happy hai hi slightly explored it.
There are love stories with similar people I guess. I mean not opposites. Try Bepanah Pyaar, it's on air on Colors. If you haven't tried already. They are not twin-like similar, but they are not opposites either.
And I recollected something else. You mentioned how you wanted Zoya to walk away from the mess and shit. Completely unrelated. But there was a serial called Jyoti, like a decade old serial, which showed her walking out of the marriage, and eventually she went on to find love again. She was pregnant and the guy loved her despite that. That was my first ITV show properly. And that was 👏 The kind of crap EK Shows now is beh. They explored all this in 2009-10. Wasn't about naari Shakti or anything. But was a great watch. You could give it a shot if you are up for it. A nice love story it was.
Actually Ayaan got more importance after VM came, coz he was more grown up. But just not in the right direction. All that Humeira crap, Nikhat crap. I felt Ayaan shone in the ZoYaan track though the track was SHIT. He shone!
