I don't mind law but why is it that in cases of politicians and VIP cases are fast tracked but nirbhaya case is running for last 7 years...

Case went to high court, supreme Court and now the next step is to appeal to president for mercy.

But Mercy? Seriously, Mercy for heinous crime?

It's taking 7 years for what...

7 f*cking years..7?? what do these people think.....one of the reasons why criminals are not afraid in India🤢

common sense laws.....no rape case case should go beyond 6 months....a rapist is a rapist...age should not be a consideration to let them go...and if proven guilty...death penalty....but hoga thodi na.....dus saal cases chalenge aur hum laws follow karenge....ek aur ladki ka rape aur murder ho ..humein kya fark padta hai🤢

Law should be ulta...guilty until proven innocent. It would be more effective to put criminals away.

This way the stories will never end and we can continue to judge people, things the way we want.

The news we are reading from various sources, the culprits don't seem to be innocent people. Lawyers are denying to extend legal service to them as against Nirbhaya case. When asked what punishment to give to the accused, Nirbhaya said to burn them live. She experienced it that was why said so.

We can continue to judge people but there is no guarantee that we are judging the right people. A criminal deserves punishment, an accused deserves a proper trial. It will come back to bite us if we try to mix these two. Let people judge anyone however they want based on whatever facts they have learnt about it. I don't mind that. I just don't want the people to decide the punishment for an accused. It should be the police to find the culprits and collect evidence against him. It should be the court of law that decides their punishment. Of course if found guilty they should hang them immediately and not keep receiving their mercy petitions. But do not let mob lynching become a legal practice cause mob lynching has killed many innocents. This is not for a civilised society.

This is the sanest thing that anyone could say in the circumstances that the women in India are facing.

I know. I live here , face them. I don't want to face mob lynching in future because police, judiciary and politicians wanted to get rid of their responsibilities and just feed on our tax money.

So incompetent politicians, law makers, judiciary and police can't do their duty which would have stopped all this but yeah let's promote lynching when there are already people in India ready to lynch , there is a section of society who is suffering from it and there are some sane people who are fighting against lynching cases happening in India

Kaise kaise log politicians ban jaate hain ....poora jangal raj bana do , why do we even need education if that is how cases are going to be solved .

What does she have to say about her husband who said "When rape is inevitable, lie back and enjoy it"?

A lot of people think like this. I studied in a central govt. College, the professors are highly educated there. One of them said the same when this nirbhaya thing happened.

I don't think they understand the difference of consent.

I am always shocked at the "brutality" of the way these rapes/crimes are committed in India.. always done in a group.. like how can not one of them just have even a iota of consciousness or humanity to try and stop the others.. and the whole disfiguring and burning of the victim. So effing scary 💔
