I am not victim blaming here. But, her passive acceptance of Karan's heinous deed seems to egg him on. Earlier, she hadn't commented nothing about it, and we were all kept indifferent to her thoughts. And now we are privy to them, I wish she'd shut her mouth and just told Prithvi, I am not interested. Sorry. 🤓

Have you ever been in love and not able to get the guy becoz of some strong reasons. And those reasons can't be explained to others bcoz they won't understand it either.

And you will all be left like you want hate him but you can't becoz u love him. U can't love him bcoz he is soon going to be someone else.

Preeta is also in that state. She loved Karan and never in her dreams she thought he will do this to her. She can't completely hate him bcoz he's the one she loved. She can't love him either coz he hurted her that much. So she can't easily get over this relationship is the first thing. And secondly she doesn't want to go back to him either. But she is keeping that MS as remnants to her broken marriage and the guy that she chose/loved and she will continue doing that until she gets her answers from Karan y he did that to her.

If I were in Preeta's shoes I also wouldn't want to take them off bocz my love for the other guy wasn't wrong and it was pure. If he doesn't want to acknowledge it, fine by me.. but don't ask me to re-marry or remove them. Bcoz staying single is one big deal! The society won't let you live peacefully. And you do need MS to survive to an extent in India.

I don't want to come sounding out like a PreeRan 'basher' or a PreeRan 'hater' of any sort, but the truth is (unpopular opinion alert) I just don't think they look very good together. 😃 Anyway, keeping aside the 'chemistry' (and my biases) I have also never liked 'Karan' as a character, and sometimes the masochist in me feels so satisfied and essentially vindicated with the fact that Karan is/was exactly how I had portrayed in my mind 😈.

Nevertheless, I completely understand why Preeta has taken her 'shaadi' with Karan so seriously. The reason the makers are doing so is to emphasise on Preeta's fidelity towards her relationship no matter what the status quo might be and also to underline the contrast between her an Karan, but even more importantly they are doing so to accentuate the similarity between Rishabh and Preeta who have clearly now become automatically the more faithful partners in their respective 'shaadi's.

I find this to be extremely important in the grand scheme of things, because I am visualising some serious level contradictions to the above status quo in the future of this show. 😊

I am not that annoyed with preeta, whether or not karan respects it, she accepted the marriage from heart , and she loves karan , she may not admit but still..yes he is acting like a jerk and doesnt deserve forgiveness from preeta , but this is preeta s stance..at least she is clear about it..karan wont have it easy ,I am sure preeta will give him a tough time later... but preeta wont be stooping to his level , n do things like marrying punnu ...this shadi drama was also sick , she already did a stupidity by agreeing to it..like janki aunty said they must give gaaliyan to Karan.if she has to live , she can live with them if not karan but not prithvi ..

Nevertheless, I think Preeta's reason for keeping the mangalsutra and all her shaadi ki nishaniya intact is simply because of the fact that she is exactly 'that' sort of person. I HIGHLY doubt the fact that love is her primary or even her secondary reason.

Considering despite getting several opportunities and many many chances and way too many warnings from her friends her sister her welwishers Preeta NEVER BROKE HER RELATIONSHIP WITH Prithvi. In fact I remember in two distinct episodes it was Sarla Aunty whi had practically broken off the engagement between Preeta and Prithvi but it was Preeta who was the one who had been practically stubborn in her decision to 'save' her relationship with 'Prithvi'.

Preeta and Rishabh are simply that kind of people, their commitment is simply that, their commitment, they are committed people. I mean for all things practical even after Karan physically assaulted Preeta out of the Luthra House post Rishabh-Sherlyn wedding, she CAME BACK the very next day to that same house. She didn't do that because of her 'love' for Karan, she did so for 'all the relations' she had made in that house. And all those relations meant A LOT to her. Hence, she kept on trying to fulfil her part of all those relations she made, for as long as she could.😊

The way Preeta is, Sarla always emphasizes that. Koyi bhi rishta ho Preeta fulfills it dutyfully. So there is nothing surprising if she gives bhashan on MS that she is wearing.
