I don't think so. This tragic turn is all on KK. If Sony had given notes to make it different than MDKD, then KK could so much material to work with. They didn't have to send Minnie off so soon. Instead, we could have focused on HS' backstory, Hanita's adjustment to marital life, Minnie finally coming to accept HS as her father, mending the Hannie relationship, Babita's pregnancy etc.

They could have easily shown hundreds of episodes with all this but instead they chose to kill off Hanita and focus on a dukh ki maari Minnie bechari.

I just don't see him liking such roles. He did play a sort of angry young man as Indu Singh but there he had a lot of scope.

Haan... Lekin some of her shows have been good, for a ML too. Of course, after about 100 or so episodes, it goes downhill, but the same happened with PB too so why just blame Ekta lol.
