The church is Saint- Joseph Oratory.... Very famous..... After exams I always went there to light a candle .... Yes the view is amazing from top... Lived my whole life in this neighbourhood until like 5 years ago.

The temple in the summer... There are two big chariot festivals in summer... One is Murugan Temple in West island and then Val- Morin Temple which is like 1-2 hours from Montreal on the way to Quebec City.... Not sure which one you went to....both festivals always gather crowds... The Murugan temple kind of overtook in popularity now.

Next time visit the following:

- Old Montreal

- Basilique Notre Dame Church (in old Montreal)...Celine Dion got married here.

- Montreal Botanical Garden

- Olympic Stadium

- Mont Royal for a view of the city... At night it's beautiful

- Montreal Biosphere

- Habitat 67

There are more places but the above are kind of like the popular one.

I don't know why the Indian industry does not come to Montreal much for songs shooting... always it's Toronto or Vancouver.
