There are some parts where I felt extremely bad for Minnie but overall, I still can't connect with her. There's something that's blocking it and I think it's her transition from being an eighteen year old to twenty three. It has all happened way too quickly and like SBS wali was saying, it's just not registering.

yes the transformation from 18 to 23 is nor registering. there has been not much change in mini. Its not that 23 year old dont behave like the way she is right now. they can but considering mini was same even at 18 it dosent show growth. If you see mini in the beginning of the series to the mini at 18 before leap there were so many changes. Or maybe because mini had to get extra mature at 18 due to her circumstances her maturity is on the same level now.
I think they are going to reveal slowly what happened to Hanita in those 5 years via NB or Beeji. They won't do it all at once because they want us to remain curious to find out and thus watch season 2. It's just bait. Especially when they showed us an HS who was so happy, as they know we'd been dying to see him that way.
Something happened because he went back to wearing his old watch.
Someone please tell me why either Babitha or Mini thought of reconciling for HS's happiness? If not Mini, atleast Babitha could have thought about it .
Ego takes over so the concern for HS doesn't even come into the picture. They have sidelined his happiness from day 1.

Seriously, in the voice-over when we heard his regret of not having had the chance to hold Minnie's tiny hands when she has a baby, and then they showed him carrying baby Arya who held his hand, his words to Minnie on the phone about Arya's little hands... all of it was just... He said 'you have a sister now' rather than 'I have a daughter now'.
