Yes, it's tragic but beautiful. I understand why they did it because they wanted to avoid TV cliches (not to mention leave a hook for season 2). I love that Aniruddh is all for art and is fine with depicting such things, rather than hoping for happy endings to please the audience.

At the same time, for people like HS who have seen way too many incomplete and troubled relationships, I would have loved for him to get a little bit of happiness in his life. I know Arya is there, but he didn't get to watch her grow up. Minnie, though, will always be his first child. She's the one who made him a father.

I think the consumption of various forms of literature has helped him give a wider understanding of characters, and narratives. Not all stories have an happy ending after all.

That's the thing with me. I completely understand not everyone is fated for everlasting happiness. But something in me isn't willing to accept this because it's HS. He has suffered way too much in life to just pass away like that. Moreover, it was a forced death. It happened merely to further Minnie's pain and her story. If it weren't for that then I really doubt they would have showed him dying.

Him and Roshni will be . With the amount of material they have, they can go easily make their show have hundreds of episodes and never feel like it's being dragged out. They can even go about it in phases by showing his life from childhood, teenage / youth, put a little bit of focus on his years at the academy, him marrying Imarti all the way up until her death, then his journey to finally becoming an Inspector.

I will always be mad at KK for not exploring HS' backstory when they honestly could have done so much with it.

Yeahh! This probably won't make sense but at times I feel like HS looks much more sturdy than Aniruddh. I know it makes no sense at all since it's Aniruddh's body that plays HS but mujhe aisa hi lagta hai. Like Aniruddh is Aniruddh. I can't ever mistake him for being HS since HS is his own person.
