EXCLUSIVE: Vatsal Sheth talks about joining the ensemble cast of Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke; says 'I am happy'

Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke starring Shaheer Sheikh, Rhea Sharma, Kaveri Priyam and Ritvik Arora in the lead roles has been doing extremely well, and with the ongoing track, the show has been witnessing a rather tumultuous journey. And now, joining the show will be none other than actor Vatsal Sheth. We got in touch with him and asked him about the role, joining an ensemble cast, and apart from sounding content, he also had some insight.

Ask him why the sudden shift and this bend towards taking up a positive role, and what enticed him about the role, he says 'See, the show is really very popular, and to top it all, it is also a Rajan Shahi show and I've been meaning to work with him since a very long time, and of course, it is Star Plus. There's all of that, plus the fact that I've been doing all the anti-heroes for a while now and I was very excited, so that's how I became a part of the show.

Ask him, if it's a cameo, he said no this is not a cameo, without divulging any further details. Talk about the ensemble cast, ask him if he had any inhibitions about joining the show and adding the third hero to the cast, he says "No, there is no such thing, I've never been like that. For me, I have always looked at my role and I'm very happy now. Even in Ek Hasina Thi, I wasn't the hero, but it is about the character and role you are offered and the confidence that you have in yourself and I am very happy and of course, these guys are doing a great job which is why the show is where it is.

From the break up segment it was too bad. I’m wondering how BP and BM would feel about the whole thing. The promises that Abir made to BP to convince him for marriage and the promises he made to Mish herself.... with the way the breakup happened it’ll be too difficult to get somewhere close to how they were before this whole heartache though it’ll never be the same again
