HS was unnecessarily made blind for so many moments when he should have spoken up. But then again, the writers knew that if he had interfered then they couldn't have gotten the drama they were striving for. Case in point: the burning of the letter.

As much as we think we know about HS & Naeem Bi, we really don't. After all, when Imarti died she had stopped coming over to his place. Why? Didn't her relationship with HS go before Imarti's arrival? What stopped her from coming to check in on the man whom she claimed to be her first son? Instead, she just let him wallow in his grief and alcohol. If it had been Irfaan in this state, then would she have kept quiet and done nothing?

well true they both are on an equal footing then.

And we never knew what happened after imartis death. maybe HS raat ko pi ke hi ghar aata tha jut to sleep. maybe they interacted in the day. and maybe he became too closed up to allow anyone inside.

But considering NB and HS had gotten closer again, it would have only made sense for HS to think & care about her and expect babita to do the same like he expected with chachi

Now again when HS needs her most she won't be there. She could see Mini's tears behind her smile but couldn't see what Mini meant to him ? 🤷‍♀️

The CVs really saved the best for last: exposing NB's flaws. I rest my case.

OOOOPS. Call it forward spiral 🤣

(Actual mein it's a ZERO. Why even that, it's so regressive!)

Backward spiral it is. All the way to the big bang

I also think what Babita did with the shop made her feel humiliated so she took a lot of her anger on Babita out on HS too. For once NB stopped being a parent and made it about her - I'm not blaming her. It's just what the CVs showed us.

The precap was shown out of order. There has to be at least one parent hugging Minnie. Babita se toh umeed hi chori hai meine, but HS has to. Even if it'll break him, he has to.

True. Everyone including NB and Lala wanted HS to marry Babitha and give her happiness. Lala even fought for Babitha with HS. Naembi herself told HS to fill his mother's room with Babitha's laughter. I don't remember anyone advising him to be father of Mini . None of them saw her pain then. Now all of a sudden everyone knows Mini is suffering and HS failed her. 🤷‍♀️

Yeah, and ALL of them knew about his issues with his parents. They saw what he did for Minnie at the hospital and afterwards. They knew that the marriage only happened recently so HS hasn't even had time to learn to be a parent.

If all fathers of newborns were given just this amount of time to become good fathers I bet a big number would fail due to lack of experience. HS doesn't get a second (or any) chance whatsoever.

You can't even single out a particular good moment post marriage. It's all been marred with some sort of toxicity or another.

if you watch episodes before marriage the episodes had such a lively atmosphere and positive energy. after marriage everyday looked like doomsday is going to come.

Everyone before marriage were all about Babita and Minnie who?? But then post marriage they're all Minnie, Minnie, Minnie. Naeem Bi legit brought up HS' equation with Minnie minutes before the phere. Tab bolne ki kya zaroorat thi, thoda aur ruk leti. Even after the phere, NB never picked up the conversation. Instead, she diverted all her focus in making sure that Hanita share the same room, which okay?? So you can be invested in their sex life but not give him adequate advice on being a parent??

Totally agree. NB is right in many cases but I think here too she failed as a parent. I would have also expected her to encourage Minnie to talk to HS but no she was too busy being friends with the Khuranas.

It's not HS who came between mother-daughter but Babita who came between father-daughter. I can't forget or forgive her for that. There's no redemption for Babita, the writers made sure of that.

All her lines about "Minnie ke bina kaise jiyungi? Saasein bas thi hai meri uss mein" etc., they're something that every mother says about their child. It's a known fact. But when a mother's actions fail to support these claims, then everything about her comes out hollow. I don't expect Babita to stop breathing the minute Minnie is away, but surely she could have shown some compassion and empathy to the daughter who has been with her since day one.
