In 2016, when Eri won the AVTA award, she was totally new to ITV and her fan following was only some 200K+. And tbh, she got through it at a time when EK heroines were ruling the ITV. That is why i felt that, unlike other awards, this one will be unbiased. Hence, till i read that HC won, i was unexplainably hopeful that Parth & Jenny will win, especially because Jenny was not awarded last year, though she had 2 shows in her credit. Also, till today i didn't know that AVTA used to award actors in the consecutive years. Only when i checked now, that i saw that SC has won best actress award for 2017 & 2018, while NM won best actor award for 2016 & 2017. Which explains that this is not a new thing with AVTA. The only difference this time is that the awarded show is not on air. But then, noone can ignore the fact that even after 1year of the show being offair the show fandom & the couple fandom is one of the strongest fandom in ITV. That is why I feel that the votes too has been taken into consideration in announcing the results, though the deciding factor this time might have been the confirmed participation by the actors. Because last week that Rajan guy from avta was seen complaining on TT that, everytime they are bombarded by fans to invite their favorites and when the time comes noone turns out inspite of inviting them as per the fan's requests. Having said all these, i too would have been more happy if Parth had won, because this award was the only one i had trust on their genuinity. So when i said in my previous post that HC was deserving, what i meant is that, he deserved it because of his talent & because he belonged to that group of natural actors. Not based on whether the show was on-air or off-air.

I understand it may be disappointing to many that parth hasnt won given his appreaciating acting has anurag basu and also a popular actor among fans..i feel he may defenetly get next next year ..some get their due a little later some more later..parths due may not be too late..May be he is new to daily soap..other actor who won was more senior experience and acting and performance wise too..

Anyways hoping for best for parth and hoping he also win someday probably next year😃
