Its fine though because I really like AD in HS's role and he does full justice to the role. I am also glad to have seen his performance through this show, otherwise I would have never known about him.

Whatever it was, the stars aligned and we got AD playing HS. I didn't know about him before either but he's clearly in a league of his own.

Eijaz has experience and one thing in common with AD: great diction.

Well, I was of this opinion from day 1.

In a way Minnie prodding them sped it up. It's not her fault but no one took the time to think things through and Minnie learned a big lesson through all this.

I neveer thought they were going to be suitable as spouses, not until Babita stepped up (which I'd said during the track when HS was in Chandigarh). She never did step up so it didn't happen.

If she had left the haveli for her own dignity and toughened up on her own initiative it would have literally been a different story.

I think luck also plays a part. Some actors/actresses get good roles even after playing parents. Those who are in Balaji serials sign up by default to become parents eventually as well as grandparents too sometimes (without ever aging).

Look at Shweta. The kind of work she's done is remarkable, even if she has played mother, grandmother, great-grandmoter, LOL. I especially loved her in Begusarai.

Erica was literally crushed and criticized SO MUCH. Specially when ML and FL are at opposite ends, everyone blindly supports the hero.

No one deserves what she'd to go through. But I guess at the end of the day, she's really popular now and also might be a Crorepati 🤣

My mom was watching Mere Dad ki Dulhan yesterday. She's a huge Shweta fan from the 2000s.😆

Mere Dad ki Dulhan portrays a realistic single parent-child relationship.

Daughter is not maahan. Dad is not insensitive and immature. Both love each other immensely and can’t live without each other, but one is not glorified over the other.

I might give this show a chance. Shweta Tiwari is an added bonus. I am excited to see her bond with the daughter.

P.S. - It seems she will be the kirayadaar in dad-daughter's house. This is the perfect formula to bring the couples together, ek hi ghar mein rakh do dono ko 😆
