Now that we are talking about the IT sector, my two cents on it. Indians are known to WORK without considering weekends/Holidays/Nights. This is the harsh truth.

I have known all my US counterparts who don't compromise their non-office hours. Most of the time we need to compromise and have late evening/night meetings. And for all this, I don't blame them. We are the ones who should be blamed. They hardly compromise their personal time and we hardly care about it.

The TRUTH - We Indians are cheap labor and this is the main reason the IT sector flourishes here in India.

Yess but as you only mentioned Indians never settle for less in life even if they have to ruin there lives for it...in a way😆

I am very much a rookie / new in this sector i don't have much experience to speak and knowledge to share about IT sector... but i know working culture , business culture and market and In India even if we have a 30 min window left to earn something na we will leave a whole day of family time.....some do that for family needs some for there personal needs i am not judging them at all par it is a sad state of affairs if you are not taking care about things you are actually earning for....like family and your own self..

!@bold - Comparing our structure to US is fine but they are payed more and work for less hours because we are doing there work for them here in much less price soo it is not valid i think to compare a employee and employer..
