I feel like it will happen. At first he will be too dumb with shock and hurt to say anything, then when realisation starts kicking in that prachi is being trapped, then ranbir will speak up in prachi's favour.
If he won't trust her at start or get furious, i won't be too mad at him coz he's hurt right now and i can understand how he must be feeling but i want him to eventually speak in her favour at the end though.
