Bold - Till today, that is what i used to tell others too. To get back the audience's connect with Pre, he was being deliberately shown dumb & insensitive towards Pre. So, i don't have any complaints on that part. But him being not aware of what is happening with his best friend's family, especially when he is the one who is in one way responsible for Rajesh's death & this orphaned state of the Sharmas and instead of feeling guilty for all what have happened with Pre, he is having masti with his son....I think, i better stop here. Otw, i will end up making him look more villainous than Komo. 🤐

I am not angry with Moloy but he is one character I m just not able to connect with in this track. U know, when someone does something out of character still remaining in his character, we can get angry. But if someone totally behaves out of character, it is called character butchering and u can't believe it at all. I have a better example, but let's stick to our people to avoid the fanwars. Like, when Anurag learnt about baj-pre marriage, he started behaving totally weird, so not like Anurag Basu, so out of character...but I could connect with him and would just get mad at him when he occasionally did something wrong in his junoon, maybe like he believed pre married B for money. Gussa aata hai par samajh bhi sakte hai kyu aise behave kar raha hai. Because his original self was intact too...his love, his pain, his passion, everything. In some moments, he would regret his misbehaviour with pre but couldn't even control himself. But then came a day when he planned that suicidal game. That day, I just couldn't get mad at him. Because I can never believe that Anu can do something like this. I didn't feel anything for him, I just lost the connect and he was unrecognisable for me. Similarly, I would get mad at Moloy at the moment when he did something wrong but would understand him if he pondered upon his mistakes at some point. But now, I feel, this is not the moloy I knew. So I feel nothing for him. When u make desperate attempts to butcher a character to elevate some other character, u don't put that character in bad shape but u totally make that character useless or redundant in the story.

About topic, I fail to understand it's been 2 nights one day, still Basu's don't know about the fire break out at Sharma's. He is not keeping watch on Sharma's wo toh chhodo, don't they have any mutual friends also? These two families have been together since years, the two men were best of the friends, yet they don't have any mutual people who would inform moloy about this? Kuch bhi!! Aise toh faltu ki gossips aag ki tarah failti pure sheher mein...kaam ki baat kisine nahi batayi?

When Anurag learns about this, I want him to question Moloy. Y don't u keep same relations with Sharma's anymore? What has changed just because Rajesh uncle is no more? Moreover when u say u were indirectly responsible for his death? And maa says we r taking care of them? Like this? I want Anurag to bombard so many questions on Moloy that moloy should be left speechless and made to feel guilty about how ignorant he has been behaving with Sharma's.

To make way for office track, they could have simply shown that moloy offered help but Sharma's refused talking about their self respect and all...Kuch nahi bigadta isse. But the problem is cvs can't interlink the characters properly. It is only one or two characters at a time and their story. Whoever comes in between needs to get butchered to the extent that character becomes unrecognisable. Anyways, they r giving us some good things too, so I m letting this go for now

I was about to answer on your previous reply post. But then here in this post you yourself have mentioned the reasons for my anger. The bolded lines are the part that make me furiuos like anything. 😡

Coming to the Anurag questioning him part, let us see whether we will get it. If we get it and it is for that CVs did this butchering, then i may calm down. If not, Moloy will be just another good for nothing Basu for me.

I agree with you here that they've sidelined his character in the current track to elevate Prerna. Otherwise his indifference to Prerna and her full term gestation doesn't really make sense considering the dialogues given to him few weeks back.

But at the same time I'll like to give some time to this track before I start hating this character as I find him the only Basu who has been positive so far apart from Anurag. So I just wish my hopes don't fade away 🙏

Grace in my opinion anytime Moloy is still better than Mohini as he doesn't blindly judge people on the basis of their riches. Just look at Mohini just on the basis of Sonalika's looks and her fake concern she finds her an ideal partner for her son without even thinking for once about her background etc. She never really cared for the truth that Anurag loves Prerna immensely. But Moloy never turned blind to his son's feelings.

But yes I'm disappointed with him currently but still I'll give his character some more time as I mentioned in my previous comment where I quoted Munni.

I won't go as far as to call him the worst in the basu clan. For now he is just concentrating on his own son and his well being. He's not like mohini, blindly prejudiced against prerna. Neither is he being overly sweet and welcoming of sonalika. He's just cordial to her, and he has no reason not to be. He's not fawning over her like mohini and nivedita.

But the way he's treated prerna is unacceptable. To not meet her, or apologize to her or even thi k about her with a sense of guilt is really difficult to digest. I hope they rectify it in the future.
