Ok to be truthful i was never impressed with babita character. It never had the power to be protagonist. they had written an very immature character. Look at HS the moment he entered the show picked up according to me. This show ran because of all 3. It would have never survived on babitas character if mini- HS character was not there

And it wouldn’t have survived on just Mini and HS’s character if Babita’s character wasn’t there.

It was her story. I personally don’t relate to Babita but there are ladies like her. It’s a fact. not everyone can be mature and strong. There are all types of women. Babita was representative of those housewives who were married off at 18, had no outside world exposure, naive to think staying from husband was for something good, under-confident, weak and somewhat delusional. It’s reality. I have seen such ladies. We may not relate but they don’t stop existing. The story was about her overcoming her shortcomings and be independent, strong and survive.

Everywhere they promoted the show as story of Mini and Babita. Even HS says to Mini, tu coach hai Aur teri mummy player. Khelna player ko hi padta hai. So babita was always the player.

I agree with you that HS made show more fun. And PB is PB with all 3 of them. It can’t survive without one less. ITV can never have only female lead. It will always have an ensemble cast. Coz they shoot everyday. No 1 or 2 person can shoot so many hours to fill 5 days a week. PB is made up of all characters. 3 main. Rest side characters. But the journey is of Babita’s.
