Historical drama and Ekta do not go hand in hand. Period.

I am having hard time believing that the same ekta Kapoor produced Hum paanch.

Really! yeh baat toh aaj pata chali hum paanch was EK's show. Historical drama mein I loved Porus.

I remember EK remaking the epic Mahabharata 😆 such an epic disaster that was 🤓

For me, some clips of JA seemed like a sasta copy of the movie JA, which had Hrithik and Aish..Paridhi did a fine job maybe but the show was not my cup of tea at all 😆

Yikes!! First of all why Hastinapur ki rajsabha would have Mughal architecture?🤓 shows amount of effort they put into research. And they start with most dramatic part- Vastraharan. Bas Drama drama drama. Mahabharat ko to baksh do.

Mahabharat in term of content: 1980s>>> Star plus one >> ekta.

Oldest version was bang on about details and historical facts. ( Ironically written by a Muslim). Star plus one had some inaccuracies but I loved draupadi and shakuni, duryodhan, Krishna too.

Pooja Sharma as draupadi was bang on!! Her expression during Vastraharan part was SO GOOD. So fierce... She's the best draupadi so far...

Praneeth as shakuni was amazing... Even his wardrobe was also pretty accurate... And the guy in ekta's Mahabharat is trying to copy praneeth's iconic laugh...kuch to original Karo... Guy who played duryodhan was also good... Saurabh Raj jain as Krishna was awesome as well... I never like philosophy ridden monologues but I loved his monologues...

Argh...ITV is seriously running out of content and ruining existing masterpieces..
