Naira - A liberated girl turned doormat of Goenkas

I watched an old clip of Naira’s first birthday after the leap, how kdadi and surekha were against her birthday celebration, even Manish and Akhil supported. I felt so bad, much more than i felt when this was aired as now i can see how she never got the respect she deserved and things are still the same. This happened just after Keerti’s marriage track got closed, i was like seriously, ungrateful evil in laws!!

And i can see , the story is still the same now. Goenkas really treat her as a doormat, even after all the things she did for each one of them. They were even against celebrating her birthday , dressing the way she wants, working independently. This means the show is not progressing for Naira , like it did for Akshara. Once a doormat always a doormat :( .

As a woman I really feel for her. Lets Leave Kartik aside for a moment and think just about Naira. Kartik is never treated like a trash by his in laws, when Naksh hated him, he had a strong reason. How much Naira has been blamed and suffered all her life in beyond cruelty. Even her own maternal family wasn’t happy when she came back. No one tries to understand her issues. God knows when the CVs will give her the respect she actually deserves , which every daughter in law in our country actually deserves.

How true. I think the notion is that unless you show the female lead suffering you won't get eyeballs *facepalm*

I mean there have been successful empowered female characters earlier, why can't they look at that! Saas, astitva, alpviram

Even Dahleez, which came on star plus if you watched the show. The girl Swadheenta , a lawyer, just after her wedding day , fought against the will of her in laws, her husband and her own parents to prove her belief on the family who raised her. It was such an awesome show, ended soon though coz trp aunties love sadistic writing against female leads.

This promo though :( . Goenkas made her life hell , one of them took away her mother, she forgave that too. But instead of making her feel loved , pampered and respected , they killed her happiness slowly and gradually for good, and still hellbent to do the same. Pathetic in laws .

Yes sadly the goenkas never changed or improved ...manish and k dadi after all these years are the same ...naira has never been a daughter to them ,.shes still a daughter-in-law. I’ve watched Shows where the mother in law before marriage hated the daughter in law, and after marriage also troubled her..but after a while seeing the sons love the mother in law eventually accepted the DIL and slowly came to love her and accept her as a daughter, and years later even when the couple are separated the DIL is still shown love and treated like a daughter by her in laws...now that’s progression in a show ..but in yrkkh ..there’s no progression with the goenkas. They are a self centered arrogant family ,.who are actually not very nice people ..yes they do charity for the poor ...but they are not humble thoughtful people.. I find them too proud and full of themselves ...and think they are better than everyone else

I am surprised they never explored naira's relation with goenkas but always focused on naira vs kartik..naira plus kartik vs goenkas would have made a good track too..kartik was a different Male lead who had the capability of standing up for his wife..

But they destroyed his original character slowly , after he accepted Manish and Suwarna. Even he joined the Goenkas and followed them in misunderstanding and blaming Naira :(

Yes that's why I said he was capable of that but the day he sided with suvarna over his step brothers death, kartik was finished for me..keeping that aside, I cant take kartik so distant with naira ,incapable of handling little problems of his life , changing his stance every week..disappointing..they r ruining kaira
