Noone is saying the Bajaj character itself is bad here. We are all mentioning about the TRACK that has been worst. The makers could have used Bajaj in any other way instead of copying the old season and maybe the TRACK would have worked.

The track was actually worst so far.... they could not figure out what type of a person they wanted him to be projected as.... Really a poor effort on the writers part. They started off as a business shark which they turned into a helpless father then a man falling in love with his wife and suddenly into a person with criminal intentions and then at the end as a mahan person. So they basically couldn't give him a proper build up in my pov. The writers failed to handle the track properly and that's why it failed.

Regarding his comeback we all know he might come back but let's wait for him to be back.

Bajaj kept coming and going in the last season too. He’s not a phase, he’s actually a permanent fixture in the story. You can’t have KZK without a Bajaj. I think that part people really struggle to accept. I can understand why of course because he was the other man in Prerna’s life. The way he left her life, he could easily come back to become more.

Bad dream refers to the track and not the character Bajaj as such. So I don't think I need to clarify anything further regarding this.

@bold : Exactly...my thoughts...actually his character was worst written in the whole show till now......

Trust me I was actually a bit excited for Bajaj's entrance when I learned it was KSG...they could have made a good track out of it...while keeping AnuPre intact because they are the core of the show...but they ruined it majorly.....

If they couldn’t build the characters of AnuPre probably what chance do others have? They’re the most one dimensional leads I’ve seen. Different characters work for different people.

The truth is, in the show world like this especially Ekta show, their tracks end but they pull out aces as and when required.

Very old school style of storytelling!

Look at Komolika, Ronit etc etc. And, above all, Anupre’s pregnancy and hulk baby is sometimes forgotten and erased too.
Did you ever see anyone asking Prerna to eat or drink despite being pregnant? Other shows have it, here they are fixated with Durga Mara, Chunari etc etc.

Problematic storytelling!

So Crux of the matter is, they forget people as per tracks. Sharma’s weren’t even there for Anupre wedding before ML.

Flawed Storytelling!

Now, coming to Bajaj and his memories. One needs to go back to PreRish and understand what they were to each other. Bajaj has the strongest emotion for Prerna while Prerna was indifferent. For her, he existed and she slowly learned to exist in a NORMAL setup as a family.

Why she doesn’t remember it now?

I go back to Devdas which is the Mecca for this show and will be quoting something from it.

A filled cup will spill if you try to pour more into it. For that, to pour something more, the cup needs to be half empty or completely empty. When Bajaj came into a Prerna’s life altering destiny creating a story which was never meant to be his, the heart’s cup of Prerna is already filled with an overwhelming love of Anurag. Bajaj tried to fill it with more and it spilt and how!

When he left her, it spilt but still the liquid had the pride of at least touching the cup and flowing away. PreRish dynamics was as such.

It started as a nightmare for Prerna, one may choose to call it but it became her Reality and gradual acceptance.

From Prerna’s perspective, they don’t have a strong foundation to remember him now because she is overflowing already. For building memories, for building semblance and to remember someone in your darkest times, you need to at least have a half empty cup if not full.

When and if Bajaj comes, it will be at a point where she is half empty, easy to at least explore more! They will eventually create new memories and she will have plenty to time and moments to remember Bajaj.

I don't know about last season but here he himself joined AnuPre and gave divorce to Prerna. So Prerna has no relationship with Bajajs and is completely free as of now....

And the makers completely erased all Bajajs from the show not even KUKI is there.....

I thought KUKI will be in the show for Bajaj's comeback but now I don't know.....

Anyway this season is about AnuPre so Komolika and Bajaj just come and go as per convenience to spice up AnuPre's life....that is what is happening in the show till now.....

Name calling is common here dear but let's confine ourselves to the topic.

I agree with you that for now Prerna is free from that forced marriage with him. But in future they might bring him back and no-one can deny that. But whether we'll get what happened in season 1 is not something confirmed as it again depends on audience acceptance of a particular track. This time it was not accepted so in future what happens we need to wait and watch.

Also the topic was basically about Prerna and whether she remembers her past 4 months life or not. I can understand that where the topic is getting diverted and I once again request you to please stick to the topic. Whether he'll be back or not is not the topic here...

She doesn’t have a bitter memory of her marriage with Bajaj. She grew to respect him and like him. This isn’t a very smartly written show so she will remember him when the writers WANT her to. There was a lot of unsaid chemistry between PreRish which perhaps we saw, you didn’t. We see what we want to. They’re not making her remember him atm because he’s not meant to be back atm.

In the same way during the Bajaj track, there were times where she looked fine being married to him and I’m sure there were complaints that she doesn’t even seem to care about/remember Anurag. Does that mean she stopped loving him? No.

Things are done as per convenience. Her not remembering right now doesn’t mean she has no fondness for him. He was not a nightmare for her, he may have started off as one but we saw progress and progress doesn’t have to be romantic. They had a relationship and bond which she didn’t fight to get out of either.
