If true, then this is really sad. I was even more appalled when she said that she got Babes married to break a social norm. On top of that, she had tried to rope in Babes onto her side too. I mean, the eff?? What the fck was HS to her? Just a tool to break that norm? A trophy that she can brandish to the whole world ki dekho, meine kya kiya?

Give me a break!

Trophy wife suna tha, yaha par toh trophy dad hai 😆

But, yes, it was appalling when she said she got them married to break society's norms. Matlab apne maa ke feelings ki kuch kadar hi nahi. Jis insaan ne sar ke upar chhat dilayi uski koi respect hi nahi. Bas apni so-called progressiveness dikhani hai

They have mixed up everything.

Financial independence (PB catering), Surname - Identity and now they get this husband’s money is not wife’s (housewives).

All three stand on their own. I don’t where writers are getting at.

PB catering I agree with Mini. Surname and identity interdependent is I don’t. Identity do not depend on surname. And Babita should have freedom to chose. Regarding this Hanuman Uncle’s money — again I don’t agree with Mini.

💯

Especially the last bit. Once married, most people club their financial resources and even open joint accounts. If one isn't earning as much money as the other, are they supposed to not have any haq on that money?

Especially housewives. They take care of everything at home but they don't earn. So they should never buy anything for themselves or others?

Actually, this could've been such a great track for Hanita to show their daughter how this works. But no, KK ko toh drama hi chahiye.

Is it not about the fact that babita ASKS for the money? Fair enough finances are shared when one works and the other is the homemaker but doesn’t this mean the finances are literally shared in the sense that either the wife has access to the money (without having to ask) or she being given a portion of the wage with which to do household and personal stuff with? If we take a step back here as kid, if you’ve seen your parent struggle for independence then get it and then go back to having to ask for money, it would bother anyone. Yes it is the both of their money as they’re husband and wife so babita shouldn’t have to ask her husband for some money to purchase stuff. He’s given her the keys to his house so why not his bank card also? Or at least access to his account so that she’s not having to ask for it.

I actually see the issue here and I don’t believe it has anything to do with the fact that they share finances because rightfully what’s hs is babita’s. It’s the fact that even tho she has an entitlement to it she’s still got to ask him (in a very awkward way also)

@bold — I know. If there’s a function at wife’s side of the family, and she wants to gift something, she can’t coz it’s not her money. 🤔

KK ka dimag khali ho gaya hai. They are in such deep shit. I don’t know what they want to show.
