Actor Pawan Shankar to enter Zee TV’s 'Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega'
Zee TV’s popular fiction drama, Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega, has been a hit with the audiences owing to its interesting storyline and cast. Revolving around the life of Guddan and Akshat, this love story has always surprised us and is all set to unravel a new twist. In the upcoming episodes, viewers will see a new entry in the show and it is none other than Pawan Shankar, who is making his comeback to television after a hiatus of six years. He will be seen playing the dynamic and flamboyant role of Akshat’s old friend - Vikrant Goyal in the show.
Talking about his character, Pawan reveals, "My family has been a fan of the show and I am excited to be a part of it. My character has grey shades and I feel I will explore a completely new side of my personality with this role. My character leans towards the real and dedicated side, but he is also a person who takes things, that he really wants, by any means possible.” He further adds, “While I was on a break, I started two companies which took away all my time. I have been taking care of them as a mother does of her babies. But, about a month ago, after a good number of years, I had a strong urge to get back to my passion, television. The Guddan offer came at the right time and it is a very powerful role, just the kind of character I like, so I would say ‘jab dil se chaha, ussi samay vo aaya”.
His character Vikrant is a rich businessman who has a fun-loving, flamboyant personality. The 50-year-old is a close friend of the protagonist, Akshat and a fashion mogul in the true sense. He loves to keep up with everything buzzing on social media and is quite the extrovert in nature. A widower on his way to India, he is also on the lookout for a prospective match for himself. Will Vikrant be able to find a suitable match for himself?
