You know what's funny is that most of us have NEVER supported the exploitation of Prerna. Not even when Bajaj did it. AND NO I wouldn't CALL IT A BLACKMAIL BECAUSE:
1) A blackmail involves active threat that is used as leverage over victim. An active threat concocted and created for the victim. I have your x,y,z. I will SABOTAGE YOUR X,Y,Z. Bajaj NEVER HELD anything over Prerna. He simply said I'd go out of my way and HELP YOU for a price.
2) A blackmail DOESN'T INVOLVE quid PRO QUO. The blackmailer holds all the leverage. Bajaj and Prerna CLEARLY bartered. He GAVE UP his revenge, his hold over the Basu Properties, his control of everything related to them and quit actively hunting them down. HE ALSO SAVED PRERNA'S DARLING FROM THE NOOSE. A man he clearly didn't like so I DON'T SEE how it was all him. Yes he had more power in terms of conditioning. But that's EXPLOITATION not blackmail.
3) Their DEAL EVOLVED and all he did was tell her that he wanted her for his daughter. He didn't FORCE her down his daughter's throat. SHE ACQUIESCED ON HER OWN. Had she refused, he might even have freed her cos what was the point? Plus he went ahead of his initial deal and let the BASUS get away with literally EVERYTHING because he'd made a promise to Prerna. He even didn't tell Mohini her darling son had tried to frame him FOR Prerna.
And at no point HERE any of US demeaned Prerna's agency or authority to TAKE A DECISION. Most PEOPLE HERE WANTED her to take a decision BUT A DECISION ON HER OWN. She needed to stand up for herself and DEMAND for her freedom. Which she NEVER DID. So YEAH. Prerna doesn't BELONG to ANY group here! She's as much OURS to discuss as she's for anyone else to ponder about. So, go cry somewhere else. 🤔
