We know that but given the way they've been writing out Minnie's character, I can't bring myself to care about her, not even for HS' sake. I know he always will, but I can't. I am truly, genuinely done with her.

Jean, I don't want to fight with you over this. HS may consider Minnie to be his beti, but Minnie hasn't done anything to earn that title and from Friday's episode we saw what she truly thinks of him and his family. How can she possibly be his beti when she thinks that of his ancestors? Moreover, she doesn't even think of him to be his father, so kis haq se woh uski beti hui?

He'll always want a beti, but he won't ever get it in Minnie. If the writers do decide to end it with them being patched up as baap beti, then how the heck will they justify him not being in her life post leap?
