I don't think they can. Their current viewers are already frustrated with this sudden change in narratives, and most won't continue watching post leap. The subsequent falling TRPs will deter any potential viewers. KK has a blind faith in Minnie's "I will Survive" story but their faith alone cannot carry the show, can it?

Babita showed immense resilience during and post divorce. I, as a viewer myself was surprised seeing that esp the kind of person Babita was shown to be. However, NB was right, Babita mein bahut sahas hai. It might seem like she is weak in the outside, but she has a lot of courage internally. She was ready to leave the haveli and HS too after Imarti track. Thats courage.

Didn't she say that she wanted to remain in that blissful ignorance about him not being married? Besides in the seven years, that she found out, I don't think Ashok ever went back to India. So if he never had a close relationship with his family, it would've been easier for Meeta to believe that he was just all hers. And Ashok never wanted to come clean about it. It ended up happening because Meeta came along with him to India. If she hadn't, I really doubt he would have said anything to anyone.

Meeta stood up to lovely, Ashok so many times. Her past was even more heartbreaking than babita's. It's understandable that she wanted an emotional support, and now that Ashok filled a void in her life it was hard for her to let go (and apparently Ashok in London wasn't what we saw in patiala) . And that makes her a normal person, not weak. Her character was still very much underutilized. And I have to make a list of favorite characters on the show meeta would find a place above Poonam, they should have kept meeta. Poonam didn't do much for me although she looked like another copy of meeta.

Yeahh, Ashok filled the void in her life like no one else could. And she mentioned how she couldn't even recognize him when she saw all the shit he would pull off. But by then it was too late, she had fallen in too deep with him.

Same. Poonam's only role was to be Babita's friend and that was it. We never got more insight into her. Meeta on the other hand, had been fleshed out more. It's a different story that her character was axed but whatever screen space she had, she was fantastic in it.

HS will always try when it comes to Minnie. The problem lies with her as she will never do the same with him. She has already made up her mind about him never being her father. Now, no matter what he does, he'll never be able to fill in those shoes.

At this point, Hanita are coming off as being the most realistic. They had issues, and they overcame it. When it comes to worries, they discuss it with each other and give each other their take on it. Is the approach always the correct one? No, but at least they're trying and they're actually communicating what the problems are between each other. As for the other emotional connects (like HS' past), I'm chalking all of that up into the implied convos since the PH clearly doesn't give two fcks about HS and wouldn't ever dream of giving his backstory proper attention.
