Today, she wasn't just rude to HS & Babita, but she slapped every woman on the face today. We ALL have a surname, whether it's our father's, or husband's. But that name isn't our ENTIRE IDENTITY. Names are given value by US. WE choose what value we want to impart on it. WE command the respect it should have.

You're absolutely right. What we make of our names is on us. You can be independently and own the bloody world and still have our father's/husband's name attached to us. It's a lineage, not shackles holding you back!
