@bold, normally I would laugh at this, par ab to hansi bhi nahin aa rahi hai.

In the past, such a scene would have led to a beautiful conversation or confrontation and some life lessons. Ab to sab kuch ek khwaab sa lagta hai.

when you make someone your hero there is always a favor aspect to whatever he /she does for you. Remember mini thanking him when they came back from hospital for whatever he did for them. Minis feelings for HS have always been a bit of ehsaan and love and admiration for him. remember when mini needed someone the most HS came as a ray of light in her life who helped them in the beginning without any connection to them. Ashok had come to pull mini away from babita and even tried to slap her then it was HS who saved mini. not out of love for her but because it was the right thing to do. And when you help someone without any rishta just to help it is taken as a favor. Mini has not forgotten all that. she still thinks of HS as a good person only that he not been able to accept her as his daughter. I had mentioned earlier too that mini might not be comfortable taking too much of financial favor from HS. specially after what he said to her that be thankful that we are keeping you in this house. They are not father daughter yet in true sense.

I don't think it's that he never accepted her as his daughter. He has always wanted to and tried, but he didn't know how to be a father, he was learning. She didn't even give him the chance to try and do things over times.

They haven't even been married that long but all that he did was washed away... How can she forget the whole hospital incident? EVERYONE thought he was her father. They can't all be stupid.

Ugh, never mind. Just like Babita doesn't want to work or expand her horizons much in this second chance in life, looks like Minnie too doesn't want a second chance in terms of having a father figure in her life, which, no matter what she says, she craves like hell.

You can have a hero but ehsaan only comes in when your emotions for them are out of awe and gratitude and not genuine love. I guess she liked HS because he was everything Ashok wasn't but once Ashok left the scene, she didn't quite care for HS on his own.

Her character was completely butchered by the writers. It was the worst character arc ever. Maine tohh kaha tha. Even Paridhi said she felt her character started digressing two months back.

No daughter who loves her mother the way mini did in beginning of the show would be fine with the way Micky was talking about Babita.. his tone was so condescending.. ye thi woh Mini who started stopping Lovely from badmouthing her mother at an early age?! Lagta tou nahi aisa when she herself is the reason that people are now talking about her so negatively
