Ariya: Trust

Today she is totally oncloud nine. She is ready to go back to her dream job. For which she struggledand went against her parents. She had been on bed rest for 5 months and 3months of physiotherapy and training. She got the news of her rejoiningyesterday. She is so excited to be able to be back to her team, to her family,to her love, her Arjun sir. She can’t believe that she could stay away from herpassion, her work for so many months. She is thinking of confessing her lovefor him. She cannot be surer about her love than ever. She is going to ETFwithout informing anyone. She wants it to be a big surprise for everyone. She freshensup and wears her black denim jeans and white shirt and takes her diary, gun andpen along with her. She is so excited to see all of them.

She takes her car and drivesall the way to office and takes the elevator to their office. She is so nervousas well as happy to be coming to office. She enters the lobby of the office andall the desk holders greet her and ask for her well being and she smiles atthem. She could not see anyone at the main area and she goes towards theconference hall. However the scenario is not what she is prepared for. She seesall the teams are hugging each other. But the most shocking scene in front ofher is the most that hurt her the most. She couldn't believe her eyes... Theman she has always loved was hugging someone else... Tears flew out of her eyesat the feeling of jealousy and betrayal but most of all hurt. She just couldnot believe that her worst fear has come true. She could not hear the whole conversationbut she hears few words such as “engagement” and “propose”. That’s the laststraw for her. She slips away from the chaos and goes towards the terrace. Her Arjunsir has moved on. She mistook his care for his love. She was a total idiot tothink “he. Arjun Suryakant Raute” will fall for her. She is nothing but aliability to him. She had hope against hope that all the care, concern and thefeeling that she saw in his eyes were nothing more than he felt for other teammembers. She was nothing special.

She had a hard life. She hadfought for everything she has gained. Her family never supported her dream ofbecoming an police officer. Her friends did not understand her inspiration ofserving the country. When she joined ETF she thought that her hard work paidoff. But then also she was proved wrong and the person who holds her heart wasthe one who underestimated her at every step of the time she spent working withhim. The case of Zora virus was totally bummer for her career and life. She thoughtshe will never see him again, never feel his presence, never confess her loveand never live her life with him. But god blessed her with a chance by savingher. Today when she thought she will gain whatever she loses again and live thelife with her love of life. But fate again played her.

Unknown to her, her savior,her Arjun sir had seen her entry and exit. Actually what happened before Riyaarrived was that Sameer proposed Ayesha and she accepted and they decided to doan engagement ceremony with whole family. So all the members of ETF were happyand hugged each other. (Arjun has avenged Roshni’s death) just when Arjun andSakshi hugged, Riya entered and misunderstood. Arjun hurriedly untangled fromSakshi, he was about to go after Riya when Sakshi tries to stop him but Arjun justglares at her. All look at her with pity. Arjun goes from there and startedsearching for Riya and ask others and come to know about her whereabouts. He goesto terrace and sees riya sobbing and trying to wipe the tears away butunsuccessful. He went near her and said, “tum kab ai? Kaisi ho? ro rahi ho? Kya hua? Andar kyu nahi ayi? Aise kyu chali tum upar Riya?” riya heard his voiceand wiped her tears and said, “kuch nahi sir. Mujhe mama papa ki yad agayi. Aapkaise hai? And congratulations sir, aap yaha kya kar rahe hai? Aapko toh anderhona chahiye. Woh sab aapko dhund rahe honge.” Arjun smiles at her attempt, andsays, “congratulation tumhe mujhe nahi tumhare rathore sirko kehna chahiyeakhir uski engagement hai.” Riya’s eyes are wide and then he continues, “mainetumhe dekha toh tumhe bulane aa gaya. Ek baat bolu riya tumhe jhut bolna nahiaata toh bolne ki jarurat nahi hai.” And says “kabhi kabhi akhoo se dekhi aurkaano suni hui adhi adhuri baat bhi galat hote hai. Is liye kehte hai adhijankari, anjaan hone se vi khatarnaak hota hai.” Riya is embarrassed.

Arjun's phone rang and he sees Rathore is calling him but he cuts the call and look at Riya who is not looking at him and says, "Mujhe apni feelings toh express karna nahi aata. magar itna kehna chahta hu, ki mujhe jhelna asaan nahi hai, main bohot short tempered hu. main yeh nahi keh sakta ki main tumhe hurt nahi karunga magar itna keh sakta hoon ki main humesha tumhare sath rahunga. kavi vi tumhe koi kami hone nahi dunga. main ek tuta hua insaan hu jisko tumne samhala hai, joda hai, bishwash kiya hai, sath diya hai, mere gusse ko jhela hai. kya tum humesha ke liye mujhse jodke rakhkhogi? kya tum humesha mere sath meri banke rehna pasand karogi? will you do the honor of making me the happiest and luckiest person on universe by marrying me." Riya could not believe her ears and now happy tears were flowing through her eyes. she nodded as she was unable to speak and Arjun hugged her tight. they were simply enjoying their togetherness. team were happy to see them so happy. they together launched on the new couple. Sakshi was sad to see Ariya together but understood that her love was one sided.

And they lived their life with happiness.

She has no idea where her life is going.Her parents are fed up of her love. And her love? She chuckled humourless about the whole situation. He has no idea what she feels about him. She loves him like mad but he treats her asif she doesn't even matter to him. Yes that's true. Riya Mukherjee holds noimportance in the supercop Arjun Suryakant Rawte's life.

And now this problem. Her parents decided to get her married. She has to tell Arjun about her feelings before its too late. Her phone started ringing all of a sudden.She looked at the ID only to stand still. Shit! Rathore sir!

"Hello?" She gulped picking upthe call. As soon as ETF Chief Sameer Rathore heard Riya's voice he launched his lecture immediately.

"What the hell is wrong with you?Where are you?" She took a deep breath and shook her head tensed.

"I am coming sir". She said cutting the call. She really doesn’t want to talk to anyone right now.

God only knows what's written in her destiny but she knows one thing, that, she won't be able to live without Arjun.

He came inside the office grinning like an idiot. He never thought that life will give him a second chance at happiness. When his Rosh died he thought that his life will end with his aim, which was to give justice to his deceased wife. But someone said it right. Life must go on. And that’s what happened with him.

He met her.

Riya Mukherjee. Yes, he genuinely thought that she shouldn’t be here in ETF, not because he had a doubt on her ability, but because he knew that her heart is very pure and she doesn’t deserve the nightmares this job gives. He never wanted to see tears in her eyes but then he had to compel her to shoot. Though she broke down initially but now, she is a pro.

He has no idea when and how she became so important for him, in fact he always tried to keep her away from him but his heart started beating for her way before he killed that monster.

Yes, he is free now. Free from his guilt of not saving his Rosh. He had killed that monster but he can’t forget the way Riya fought.She is a tigress alright. Even Sikandar was afraid of her. Arjun grinned thinking about the incident.

“Damn it!!” Arjun looked ahead startled hearing his chief and best friend’s voice.

Now what’s wrong with this man? He went towards Sameer and looked at him amused. “Arjun stop it yaar, I am already tensed.” Sameer said with an irritated expression.

“What’s the matter?” Arjun asked looking at Sameer confused while Sameer looked at him irritated.

“Shanaya is coming.” Sameer said nervously and Arjun’s eyes lightened up.

“Are you serious?” Arjun asked excited. He can’t believe his Shanu is coming back to Mumbai.

“Absolutely serious Ajju.” He turned around as soon as he heard her beautiful voice. Arjun grinned like a mad man seeing his life in front of him.She is really here. He spread his arms and she ran into his arms grinning.

She wiped her tears and moved inside the office. She can’t let him see how much hurt she is by his actions.

”I can’t believe Ajju. You are so grown up.” The girl said grinning and Arjun looked at her as if he has found his everything. “I know right. But I missed you too much Shanu. Where were you? How could you leave me when I needed you the most?” Arjun asked with tears in his eyes and she felt her heart constrict. He has someone else in his life. Someone who is very special to him.

I am ready to marry him. She messaged her Dad wiping her tears. Arjun went to his cabin with the girl and everyone else along with Riya went to do the pending paperworks.

This is it. This is the end of her life. She can never be with Arjun now. Riya closed her eyes and took a deep breath concentrating on her work.

7 days later

“What happened to you?? Why are you so tensed?” Arjun asked looking at his friend Sameer’s face. “Yaar, I can’t leave this marriage and I have to go with Shanaya too.” Sameer said looking at the card in his hand tensed and Arjun shook his head looking at Sameer.

What is there to even be tensed about? He has to go with Shanaya only. No marriage can be important than his own sister.

“Why are you even thinking about this? You have to go with Shanaya.” Arjun said taking a sip from his glass. “I know Arjun but how can I miss Riya’s wedding?” Arjun choked on his tea and looked at Sameer shocked.

“Riya’swedding?” He asked looking at Sameer and Sameer burst out laughing looking at Arjun’s face. “You don’t know? Riya is getting married tonight.” Arjun felt as if someone snatched the floor beneath his feet. He sat down on his chair closing his eyes. He knows she loves him. Then why is she getting married?

No!! he won’t let his happiness be snatched away this time. He got up determined and ran out of the office ignoring Sameer’s voice.

She sat down on the altar crying. Why?? Just why is her life so miserable?? She looked at her Mom and Dad only to see them folding their hands in front of her. What’s their fault in all this? They never thought that Saksham would be this disgusting.

”What’s going on here??” Riya got up abruptly hearing his voice. How come he is here? She didn’t tell him about her marriage. “Arjun sir?” She whispered his name and he turned towards her and looked at her shocked.

“Riya! What’s wrong?” He asked looking at her in tension and she broke down completely seeing the care in his eyes.

She told him everything sobbing and he took a deep breath as if……as if he is relieved to hear that her marriage is broken. She agrees that her would be husband was a criminal and he was just marrying her so that he stay safe always but why would Arjun be happy about her broken marriage?

“Thank god your marriage is broken.” Everyone looked at Arjun stunned. Riya looked at him only to have her breath stop. Why is she feeling as if he is happy about all this?

“Arjun sir! What are you….” She looked at him baffled only to have him keep his finger on her lips. “Come on get up! Its your wedding today.” He got up dragging her with him and she looked at him as if he has gone mad.

What is he even talking about?

Arjun dragged Riya with him to the altar and sat down along with her indicating the priest to start the wedding ceremony while Riya looked at him dumbfounded.

She got up from the altar still shocked that she is Arjun’s wife now and by looking at him no one will say that he is not the one whom she was originally marrying. What the hell is going on?

They both left her house after all the ceremonies. As soon as she entered Arjun’s house she looked at him folding her hands in front of her. She has to know what’s going on in his mind. But he just went to change without even looking at her.

“Why did you marry me?” She asked as soon as he stepped out from the washroom and he just rolled his eyes at her. “So? What didyou expect? That I will let my love marry someone else?” He said looking at her in challenge while she looked at him stunned.

What does he mean by all this?

Arjun sat down on his bed and pulled her on his lap while she looked at him perplexed. What is wrong with him?

“Saksham is no criminal. He just did what I said.” He said smiling slightly and Riya looked at him with wide eyes. “That means…..” Riya started saying but Arjun just rolled his eyes. “Your time is gone baby doll. I know you love me. Then how can you even think about marrying someone else? Now you did a huge mistake and you deserve a punishment.” Arjun said sternly and Riya gulped hard looking at him.

“Pun….Punishment?” She asked scared and tried to move back but he just pulled her hard and she closed her eyes tightly.

He smiled looking at her and kissed her on the corner of her lips softly. She opened her eyes and looked at him stunned. “Your punishment is that you have to bear me for the rest of your life, cause I can’t live without you.” He said huskily near her ear and she sucked in a breath.

“Why?” she asked breathing heavily and he smiled at her innocence. He still can’t understand how come he can be this lucky to have this angel in his life as his wife.

“Because…” He pushed her down on the bed and came on top of her while she looked at him attentively.

“I…” He whispered moving towards her lips and she gulped looking in his eyes. Her beautiful eyes are calling him towards him.

“Love…” He said moving more close to her lips. She took a deep breath as soon as their lips brush each other slightly.

”You.” He said and captured her lips in his pouring all his feelings in this one kiss and she smiled surrendering herself to him for ever.
