So even if Babita had a setback and a bad experience before of whatever she presumed love was, she can learn now through the new people in her life, right? HS bhi toh learnt things later in life from Imarti.

Sadly, right now, Babita doesn't seem CAPABLE of learning....that is the problem.

It's not even about capability. It's her lack of interest and initiative to take the time to understand things. Saroj clearly mentioned it but I don't think Babita got what she meant either.

🤣🤣.....Hey, it's a progressive show.....other shows objectify women....this one is objectifying the man🤣.....Other shows have trophy wives....this one has trophy husband.....arm candy🤣

Maybe, I think of the jhumka scene in this instant. She's way too caught up in herself right now to be able to properly even see HS. I don't know if he's mahaan or not and I don't even know what it will take for him to reach this status at this point. He's not a mahaan person to me and never will be. He has his own faults and he has made his own mistakes that he didn't quite rectify in a proper manner. But HS has been presented as a guy who will let things slide but there's a limit to him. He won't let himself be treated as a doormat and definitely won't let his self-respect and dignity be tarnished in any way. The way Babita keeps belittling him by comparing him to Ashok, I don't know how he just lets it go. He has to say enough at some point or another. I know that the comparisons are bound to happen but ek hadh hoti hai yaar aur Babita ke samaj toh yeh aayi gi nahi. At least HS toh kuch keh de.

Yep! He will say enough is enough, or "maharaani, haath jode", and give her a piece of his mind.

He doesn't like being treated as a punching bag either. However, it can't be that she needs him to put a stop to it every time. She needs to be sensitive to his feelings. I remember the spat they had in front of the main door about this (sharaabi scene) where he clearly spelled it out but she never seemed to care or follow up on it.
