New promo in sony Liv app regarding babita changing surname - Page 2

Mini is modern dadi who wants ppl/babes to adhere to her ideas of woman empowerment only.😆

I do but the writing pre marriage and post marriage seem to be completely different. In a way, they're undoing everything they built up in the first 200.

And as for Minnie, the story was always about how a daughter gave wings to her mother. So it was always going to be either in her POV or centered around her in some way. In the first 200, they just did a better job of balancing out all the characters.

In first 200 epi we got such beautiful Hanita scenes which may be weren't required (If the requirement definition here is it should revolve around mini somehow ) then what is the problem now I seriously don't get .Ya toh starting se hi they had just depicted in 1-2 scenes that see they fell in love and further we don't want to give it importance.What was the point of showing those o rangrez pukar lo scenes then .Dheere jalna se hi hum samajh Gaye the ya usse pehle hi that they are in love but then they had scenes then what has happened now .Now suddenly everything with them is implied and mini scenes are detailed.

Maybe they are trying to show babita is so dubaao in HS that she has forgotten her own identity as to what she made herself to be

And i see nothing wrong with a woman carrying her parents name. why should she be the only one changing her surname

By changing a surname how does a woman stop getting enhanced.... Aisa hai to nobody will change their surnames.... Why it has to be Mini and only Mini.....

Rather than the surname, I think the main issue here is Babita's sense of identity. Minnie had once asked her, if she take off the surnames and look at just Babita, then who is she? Babita at the time didn't have much of an answer but ~230 episodes later, she still doesn't have an answer. Who is Babita when she's not a Chadda, Khurana or a Singh? What is her identity?

Idk tbh. They said that this isn't a love story but we never asked for one. We simply wanted a focus on Babita's love life because that is very important in portraying her independence. Her falling in love, her insecurities over whether or not HS would do right by her, and then all the tensions regarding second marriages, and how Minnie will fit in all of this - they could have shown all this really beautifully but instead we got nothing. 🤔
