Maybe, the constantly vibrating with anger Shukla who normally takes about...hmm...0.2 seconds to charge into people’s faces on the least provocation and start screeching - yeah, that Shukla - maybe he needed some time to process what he heard, and think about how wrong it was...and whether it was worth his while to take the stand.
